Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I’m a onryo and she’s weak af. How hard is it to injure survivors and hit and run just to heal up and still get no pressure. Running slobby is not good enough there is a huge healing meta for survivors Her tvs are cut off too long barely any condemn momentum. What am I suppose to do and plus she’s weak with pallets and windows she’s super weak. I’m a P100 onryo main and she has nothing to help her at all. I’ve tried multiple builds with her nothing is working and survivors love going against onryo only because they know she’s weak in chases. Why is it that certain killers like nurse and blight get easily downs and hooks and poor Onryo can’t get on the same level as them. And I’m not saying she needs to be S tier I’m saying she needs a buff o’n her chases and her tvs needs a shorter cooldown. And fix her manifestation ability PLEASE she is super weak

The weaker killers are bad in top mmr, which is quite hard to balance towards lower MMR. While Onryo is one of highest kill rate killers overall, against top teams she stays no chance. At this point is whether killers should be granted to dominate at all mmrs and how healthy it'd be for the game. If I see current killers updates and additions - Clown, Kaneki, Singularity etc. I feel that skill expression and skill-rewarding is not truly a way the game works anymore. I don't see very good Onryos but they still have minimum 2 kills per game = don't use demanifestation as antiloop, just spam tvs etc. I don't truly understand how the Onryo can be made stronger without being nerfed in other way. She's like Wraith but while Wraith has consistent movespeed Onryo needs tps to get it, but Onryo has way better 50/50 antiloop than Wraith, because you cannot see her at all, even further with some add ons. I don't think personally that she's as bad as some people say, but she's defienetly not even remotely top tier by any chance. And as killer main who swap mains quite often I understand the lust to main becoming the meta top pick, but it's not how it goes. That's why I currently don't play survivors, because games are Clowns, Kanekis, Bunny and sometimes Vecna. So it's not really enjoyable.

The devs just cannot handle power creep properly that why we have killers like ghoul being popular as they are because they can perform well in the current meta. A lot of killers just cannot keep up with it all as macro gameplay is nuked in favour of hard chases due to most injuries or debuffs thrown towards survivors being waved away by the meta.

And when they do "buff" killers it usually just makes them easier to play but not adding anything new to the kit E.g. Vecna, Huntress and Clown all got easier but their overall potential has not really increased.

I think another 6.1.0 is in order with some actual revisions to old killer powers that make them more impactful then just slight stat boosts.
