The best way to deal with tunneling
Go for the points
Don't need to go with details on how it should work, but basically:
-Killer spread hooks and all survivor escapes
They get around 40k to 50k points from the match
-Killer hard tunnels survivors and kill everybody
They get around 5-7k points
So it's all about their choice. They pick which type of fun they want to have.
Also, anti-tunnel survivor perks should be drastically buffed:
Decisive Strike doesn't have a timer. Activates upon the first pick up. Neither Off The Record or Blood Rush, but conspicuous Action still comes to play.
These anti-tunnel perks are balanced even if they are that strong because survivors will get the best of them if the killer tunnels, but if not, if they want to use their perks they can't progress through the game without deactivating them. And adding a couple of other buffs to other perks to hard counter both tunneling and slugging as well should be okay.
At the end of the day, these changes are much better than what they presented in the PTB

It's a fine idea and I'm all for it but the stat-obsessed 4k thirsters don't care about points.

Lol. Yeah guys! Don't pay attention to the fact that you lose every match and get tbagged for two minutes at every exit gate and bullied in EG chat, because you got some fake video game points! Yaaaaay!
