New update…..Game killer?
played this game from release,seen some really good updates and some bad.I had given up on this game twice before due to some of the updates and frustration on playing them.I do play mainly killer and am happy with a 2k,play for fun and not a sweat.Never play meta builds actually like playing trapper and occasionally spirit.The new update if it is as it reads on paper quite severe.
They have essentially killed the killer and fuelling swf bully squad survivors.
There counterplay was to give Myers’s a few buffs,which look good but his star has been falling for some time and don’t see the changes making him a high tier killer
If the changes are radical i see the potential to further frustrate players.But as the changes are not fully clear it will be a case of waiting until there implemented.I initially put quite a damming post in this thread but in hindsight have edited it,as I will be a case of testing the changes in real time.

Um, either your lying or you don't understand the changes. If you're happy with a 2k, play for fun, and don't sweat, the changes are buffs for you and will make the game more enjoyable.
It's going to be a positive change for 99% of players. The killer buffs are nice and actually give you a reason not to camp and tunnel.

They haven't done anything yet, only released a concept. You've uninstalled over something that hasn't even happened yet..

Exactly, although… I'm seeing a lot of killers playing like it's live or they're practicing the 6 hook restriction now so they don't get caught by it when the patch happens.

Your probably right,just read about the update over the weekend and it was probably just a knee jerk reaction on my part.I guess we’ll just have to wait it out and see,it probably doesn’t help that some of the bigger DBD content creators are being harbingers of doom about it.

You are right to some extent and a knee jerk reaction on my part,don’t get how I may be lying and to be fair your making an assumption as was i,before the changes have been implemented and have yet to put to the test as the devs haven’t really made the numbers clear so if the buffs are just slight i don’t see them making much of a difference for killer or survivor.I guess time will tell.

Honestly, this is why I avoid content creator clickbait videos. Once you realize their motivations are view$, the appeal is no longer there. Ill hop on Twitch and watch their live streams when theyre trying out the PTB, but before then I just ignore whatever they have to say. Ill make up my own mind.
I'm also a lot more petty than BHVR is, because in the devs shoes I'd be re-evaluating any creators in their creator program that are purposely posting ragebait about an update before it even hits PTB. Talking about your uncertainty and concerns from the update notes? Absolutely fine. Dramatically carrying on that everyone is gonna leave and the game is gonna die now? Well, i'll open the first door for you.
