So is Sadako gonna die after this update?
just curious because if you get a kill before 6 hook stages you are being hit with 2 nerfs and the survivors get a gen speed boost. Doesn’t that make playing Sadako actively detrimental since you aren’t allowed to condemn kill somebody until you hit six hook stages and at that point, someone is already going to be on death hook? So as Sadako the game punishes you for using your power, efficiently and effectively more than not using your power at all. So if this update goes live i’m gonna have to find myself a new main again because y’all already killed off my previous main in October of last year. Thats all, see ya ✌️

Honestly, I think that it should just not work with power specific kills because at least Sadako would have some sort of niche in that aspect.

Not really. It is still beneficial to turn the game into a 3v1, you just dont get to use your Regression afterwards. But you still are in a situation where technically the Gen progress should be heavily slowed down, since when you have one person on the hook, one in chase and one going for the Unhook, you have 0 people on Gens.
Like, it is not like alternative Kills like Sadakos Condemned Kills or Pigs Traps dont provide any advantage to you anymore. And if those Killers have a problem with the new changes, the Devs will most likely buff them.
IMO it would also be fine to make it that only if people die on Hooks that the penalty for Killers work, but if they get killed by an alternative method, there is no penalty. Even tho this would require to remove Moris.

I don't see any fun gameplay against her, you basically can't stun her for points/challenges/emblems, boring tvs that you forced to interact with because of teleport spam (how is that fun to do as a killer?) and oh yeah most of them slugging with giga haste after tp thanks to addon (green one)

This might come as a shock to some on the forum but there are matches where the survivors successfully juggle tapes to where they never get full condemned and Sadako still manages to win. It's almost like she's totally viable even if she can't kill someone right off the bat. Crazy.

If you use Sadako's power to mori a survivor before 6 hooks you only give the survivors a repair speed boost. You only lose regression/blocking if you were to kill the survivor you had last hooked, so if you never hooked the survivor you're fine. We don't know the repair speed boost yet but I'm doubtful it will be big enough to make up for killer having a 3v1 with ability to regress/block gens. As long as you don't tunnel out the remaining 3 you'll still be able to regress/block gens.

Personally I think It should only apply to hooked deaths not moris or abilities.

I think Moris will be fine since they already require a survivor to be on death hook, i just think for power specific kills its a problem.

I don't think she would be "dead" after the changes go through, but her playstyle would most definitely need to be changed to accommodate for everything.
We'll have to test her on the PTB later on and see how she fares0 -

That one's separate, that's only if the survivor killed was the last one to be hooked. So if you never hooked them, you'd keep your regression anyway. Or if you hooked someone else first.
You'd only contend with the repair speed boost, and I doubt that'll be high enough to offset a dead survivor.
