New Anti-Pig tech found

My friends and I were playing the PTB, just checking things out y'know, and I decided that since one of my favorite pig builds had been changed due to the alterations to many perks, I'd play pig against them.

Being the merciless and conniving bunch of rapscallions they are, they got 2 gens done by the time I got my first headtrap and hook. Then… The friend I hooked just waited for the Headtrap to kill him, didn't even try to take it off, just worked gens with them and even allowed himself to get downed and hooked a 2nd time before it killed him. Meanwhile, I got the Double punishment of giving the rest of the team 25% faster repair speed, and since he was the last one hooked… I could no longer regress gens… that's at 4 hooks.

They plowed through the rest of the gens and escaped because 1 guy "took one for the team" before I had 6 hooks.

I'm not saying this will become common practice in solo queue, We all laughed about how ridiculous it was, but if my guys in an SWF can figure this out in their first round against a Pig, then when this goes live, I can see it being the new "SWF anti-pig tech".

    There is stuff in droves like this. We've created situations where killers don't wanna kill and survivors wanna die 😅

    Invocation: Weaving Spiders sack play sounds fun. Take Wicked, and go for it, what is the killer gonna do?Keep screwing around in basement trying to stop you? You run away with your 30s BT, and someone else completes the Invocation. You get tunneled out and gens are 62s a piece and no longer regressable. Hero play. 😅

    The creativity opened to Survivor to mess with the killer is insane 😏

    The devs did express concern for killers like Pig or Sadako who had additional ways to kill survivors without hooking them. I suppose they thought by not excluding them that it would defeat the point of the system to reduce tunneling, but both killers are already so weak that I don't think it really matters. Neither of them are even remotely good at tunneling, and if a survivor dies to a bear trap or condemned, thats sorta of on them.

    I think it's safe to say they're going to make an out for Sadako and Pig in whatever version of this survives to live. There's been endless concerns expressed in regards to those two killers.

    I kinda doubt it, No one believed me about the "Anti-Legion Tech", so my friends and I have been abusing it for months and the Devs still haven't done anything about it. Probably because not as many people do it i guess, but all it will really take is 1 moderately popular streamer to do it though, in front of tons of viewers, and maybe then, if it picks up in the community, will the devs actually do anything.

    I'm pretty sure that for Pig and Sadako, they're gonna take a "Wait and See" approach instead of addressing the issue or fixing anything.

    Yeah I don't know if it'll be good to go for the intial live. But chances are the hook number is going to go down to three or four anyway, if the penalties even remain at all. Considering the response to this, I'm starting to think they won't, or that at least one will be axed.

    But I think Sadako and Pig will be addressed in a somewhat timely manner. Sadako mains are the loudest and most attached mains I come across. And I play against way more of both of them then I do Legion.

    I don't think it's safe to assume anything beyond simple number tweeks to happen after the ptb.

    I don't think it's safe to "assume" Anything from the devs at this point. After all, they have, time and time again, Claimed they are unbiased towards either side… But this patch couldn't feel anything other than completely Biased towards Survivors.

    Case and Point: they're removing what the survivor side thinks are "Dick-ish" tactics/strategies by Killers, by forcing them to play a "certain way" in accordance with the "survivors rules", But at the SAME TIME, Completely ignoring, and even Increasing, while simultaneously Empowering the options for the survivors own "dick-ish behaviour".

    No one, Hell, even the most toxic survivors can say this is a "good thing" for the game. After all… What's the point of getting everything you wanted so you can bully the killers to your hearts content when… No one WANTS to play killer anymore?
