How we feeling about the Myers rework
I feel Like I haven't seen enough discussion talking about Myers rework
So I wanna ask, how we feeling about the Myers rework, in my opinion I just don't like his rework, mainly the dash ability that he has in his kit
Just felt like it was implemented very poorly not feeling like Myers at all

I don't like the rework either. It's generic, unneeded and doesn't look good (Myers looking at his knife when entering tier 3 is clunky, t-posing when using the dash attack on the survivor pov like bruh). Also if the goal was to make him stronger, yeah I'd say he's worse. Myers was more than fine with his current power design.

I also don't like that rework. Myers lost his uniqueness and his new dash attack feels so generic.

Personally I’m a fan, Myers is one of the weakest and easily the most boring killer in the entire game and was in desperate need of literally anything to do beyond backrevving people with Tombstone, and this rework did precisely that

Terrible
I hope they scrap it completely

He was outdated as yugurt after guarantee, without tombstone he was joke now he is better at chase and deffinitly stronger. Yes his charracter desing isnt that iconic how the first one but finally there is mayers version which isnt dependent on addons as newborn on milk. He had one of worst early games where him with trapper and few other killers stort the trial loosing and their power up is very unreiable and bad compare to other killers like nemesis or oni.

I haven't played it personally as I am on PS5. My opinions are based solely on watching other players, mainly Mikey mains, playing it. This is the stuff I love and have always wanted for him;
- The ability to switch between stalker and pursuer mode
- The infinite stalk pool on survivors
- Giving him enduring and brutal strength base kit
- Base kit tombstone/mori of death hook survivors
- The buff to scratched mirror
- The stalking stinger music returning
All of that is chef's kiss. Perfection. I think most people love all that from what I've seen.
Its the slaughtering strike that is the controversial part. Its so wildly mixed too on the reasons why. Some people think its too clunky, some think its too easily countered by camping pallets, there's the "dash slop" critiques, and then there's those who think it just doesn't feel like Michael Myers.
Personally I would settle for them just going back to the exposed. That combined with the other aforementioned base kit buffs would be great.

I don't like it.
I enjoy Mikey as he is, both playing as and against him. I would not play as new Mikey. He is going to be less fun to play against, as well. Personally, I really enjoy trying to figure out what add-ons he's running. He's a mystery to go against. Does he have Scratched Mirror? Is he running Tombstone?
I have trouble playing any killer with speed or a dash in this game. This rework will take Mikey from a killer I can and do play as to a killer I will never touch again. It's frustrating to see BHVR take a killer who is easy to use on console and make him less console friendly. Between the low framerates and poor response to controller input, I usually don't find dash/speed killers fun. It's like trying to do precision driving in a school bus with broken steering and a windshield that hasn't been cleaned in ten years.

My only real criticism about it is the control for the dash. You have a charge bar, followed by a dash where after the first bit, your control becomes significantly hindered, but if you hit you get an instadown. It just sounds like curving with Billy with extra steps. I dont need to EARN the use of my saw if I wanna try curving with Billy.
I do appreciate the ability to swap back and forth between the modes of I want to be sneaky. I also appreciate the pallet breaking. That part at least does well to encapsulate the character.

In my opinion I think it's terrible and I hope they revert almost everything.

I had fun using the power. I like that you have control over how far you dash, it distinguishes it from other similar powers nicely.
However, it didn't feel like Myers' power. It's not thematically fitting, and he played so differently than his live version that I'm concerned he's lost his identity with this rework.

Like the swapping of modes, kind of iffy on the stalking range and add-ons, and hate the dash.

Something that I also don't like about his rework is the fact that he gets slowdown for basically anything he do. Stalking, activating tier 3, charging dash… It's painful. I hate slowdowns like this in the game.
