Add the ability to abandon if someone tunneled at the 2+ gens left
I'm not going to stay in the match any longer if they decided to tunnel someone specifically from the start and we barely managed to repair 3 gen or slugging from the start, I'm not interested in pleasing the ego of such toxic killers, the match is already clearly over for us so just add abandon in this case in the next update since you are not going to fix the problem with tunneling and slugging and I doubt it will be fixed in the upcoming years

I agree that there are too many variables that are highly likely to be unwinnable and that the Abandon feature could cover more so that it creates less time wasted for players. But at that point, I think we could just get to the heart of the matter and nix anti-go next.

Yes, I had such a match and it was unwinnible, 2 gens left, killer still had 3 stacks of pain res+dead man switch, he easily knocked us down and used pain res along the way, slugging us too and we couldn’t do anything and I’m not going to go to him to beg for mercy so that he can mock me after downing…

you've just unironically singlehandedly fixed tunnelling xdd killers wont tunnel if they have to face bots instead of real people.
i think they just love the idea of bullying someone.

I don't think 2 gens is fair, 4+ or more would be a good temporary solution until they can fully refine the anti-tunnelling update.

Well I kinda mean that too till 2 gens left or even 1 depending on remained pain res stacks or if the killer has an endgame meta perks😉

In terms of tunneling; they've gotten 1 of you while you're on or finishing your third gen? You're half way through the match and they're handicapping themselves to only sitting on a quarter done. You 3 can finish repairs, gang up to unhook, take protection hits to the exit, and leave. Losing 1, singular survivor does not mean the group loses, unless you are the target and die specifically.

and feed killers ego so they can easily mock no thanks, he can easily just slug those 3 survs, 3v1 is super easy especially at 2+ gens

If there is a bot killers then yeah go on, otherwise no and also I have challenges so at least I can do it with a bot killer just as they with bot survivors in their lobbies once all abandon

this reads a lot like “the second I start to lose the match I want to be able to leave” killers don’t want to play against bots. Stick the match out and try to turn it around instead of giving up as soon as things don’t go your way, or take your penalty and better luck in your next match.

I don't DC but I'd like people to be able to leave whenever they want without penalty, or maybe a very small one, like a BP reduction.The only time I tend to get bots is when I play Doctor and I get it because he's annoying to play against, and I'm totally fine with those poeple leaving if they're unhappy with the match. I also get a fair amount of killers ragequitting in my survivor matches and I'm fine with receiving a win without physically walking thtough the gates. If they want to go, let them go. I don't want people to feel trapped in a bad match.

I mean sure killers can quit but it deletes whole match and forces survivor to go to the next match for their challenges, it's time for devs to introduce killer bots just like in 2v8 it's been a long time since they promised

The killer bots needed to be very fine-tuned though. Survivor bots are good at focusing on objectives and know more than they should about what's going on around them but they're also dumb as all hell. Zone them onto a corner and they just stand there. If a bad killer gets replaced with an OP bot you might suddenly lose a game you were sure to win. But if they're too stupid there's no point.
They could just make it so you get challenge credit if the killer quits just like an escape. I don't know why they haven't.

At least you’re consistent. The downside of all this is we’d all be playing tons of forced bot matches on both sides or be bailing on more games than you’d actually play. This would be so wildly unhealthy for the game.

Just add the hook count penalty to abandon. Honestly OP is kinda a genius. If they kill some one at 5 hooks let people abandon. Simple as. Tunneling ends over night. Even let the killers have all there bonuses for hooking again I'm fine with that .
this also means each player can decide if the killer is just playing as is or being problematic because there are good reasons to kill some one off.

I don't know if this sort of killer-player would really care. I imagine they care about KRs and stats. If they kill the bots, they still get the numbers.
Unless the stats no longer counted in this proposed scenario. Then it might do something.

Demanding that it’s unfair and you should be able to quit if the killer kills anyone before 4 gens are completed basically sums up everything we’ve seen on this forum over the past couple of days.

To be entirely fair, asking for the Abandon feature to cover the exit gates opening on Killer is a routine topic here too. Players just want to feel like their time is valued.

The idea of the killer buffs being pushed through without the survivor buffs—something many of us immedielaty started joking about—is now being discussed in earnest. The selfishness goes both ways.

Just disconnect if you're having such a bad time and go play Civilization if you're not having fun, like the devs suggested in the past.
They're literally working on anti-tunneling updates now, and while their current effort on the PTB shouldn't have gone live, it was a decent start.-3 -

Tbh, I play for fun. I just want to do silly things with the killer, have a good chase, etc. But if the killer tunnels at 5 gens, that's no fun, and I'll usually go give myself up. The way I see it, he needs that kill more than I need the escape. I'd have probably died anyway, saving the last survivor on my own, so why not just end the match now and move on. Escaping just doesn't mean that much to me, but having fun does.

That's not close. The last gens tend to go much slower because the killer has much less patrolspace.

If the survivors play it incorrectly then yes. Otherwise they can have some outside gens and 2 that are closer so the killer has to move around the whole map or risk that gen being done.

This is mind blowing when I saw the first thread asking for the buffs with no penalities lol. I literally knew this was gonna happen. Also behavior is probably going to do it .

That's a survivor mistake. Most 3 gen situations happen because of stupif survivor gameplay.
TThat's why I hate the complaining and mechanics to eleminate 3 genning as a strategy.

Have you seen me tbag killers or be toxic against them in match? Do you understand that many of those who tunnel are not angels? And usually they mock/hump us when they knock us down with no reason, and what ego if we give up this is win-win for the killer since they also can give up, please do not talk nonsense to denigrate me

no you can't win especially with solos that can easily be slugged or endgame perks can destroy all of them since 3v1 is easy when survivor that got tunneled dropped all the good resources
