I'm starting to get tired of reporting cheaters only for nothing to happen.

This is a bit of a rant discussion, but would love to see what other stories people have to share, I have reported around 5+ cheaters since the start of the year, have filled a ticket on them, given all the sluggish details they ask of me plus video proof, yet here I am, going against the SAME cheater I reported like 4+ MONTHS ago, and they were holding people hostage again, HOW MANY reports per day does this player get??? How many TICKETS per day do they get??? WHY are they still playing the game???, I have gotten NO notifications for any actions being taken on any of the cheaters I have filled a ticket on with video proof.

What are yall doing?

Same for post-game chat harassment. I’ve reported people for saying racist things, wishing harm on my family, telling me to off myself, etc and not a single response from BHVR. Apparently there are no consequences for this stuff.

I had a Myers teleport to us Survivors and kill us all immediately.

If you can't look at the results (4K) and the match time (< 60s) and determine who cheated without any additional info, then… just… wow

Still not the worst match I've had this week, though…

There was a time where I reported every single one of them with video evidence, with little succes. Now I only do it when Im in the mood to waste time to actually follow said cheater to properly record them. Most of the time I just go afk as killer, let every non cheater finish the gens, then I open the door and go next, hopefully without being held hostage. As survivor I just hop on a gen to finish the match faster, or let the killer grab me of the gen so I can go next.

In all honesty I rarely get a notification back saying that "action has been taken"… so that is highly demotivatng and demoralizing at the same time. Especially since cheaters are yet again rampant lately. I bet they say behind the curtains now "Oh, we are getting less reports, so the cheater problem must not be as bad", While in reality the average person is just fed up with cheaters not being banned and thus don't report them anymore.

I even bookmarked steam accounts, so I can actively stalk them just to see how many hours they rack up before they get banned. For example I'm following one profile that is currently at 729 hours… Let that number sink in. This profile was actively botting on trapper, speeding and instantly downing everyone in the first minute of a match. I sent in the video evidence many months ago, so either they do a ban waves once or twice per year, or they just don't.

Edit: I realize I havent been very constructive, so here is my idea to BHVR. Add match replays to the game, so BHVR can check easy/fast ingame reports in a quick manner. Stop letting your playerbase having to spend 30mins on an 'official report with video evidence'.

Another easy solution would be to make a lot of things server sided. Like a survivor isnt supposed to be teleporting from A to B unless they have massive lag, and even in that case at least kick that person from the server. The server should be able to see that survivors arent moving around properly.
