Slugging & Tunnelling Suggestion
Slugging: Make it 90 seconds every time survivors are downed.
Tunnelling: Disable the penalty after 60 seconds.
Even with the penalty in the PTB, I still got 4Ks. So I'm not sure what the problem is unless it's a skill issue.

I have completed 100% of the killer achievements and tome challenges. I have played enough killer, trust me. I only play killer when my friends are not around to play Survivor with me. I do not solo Survivor. I guess I just have a lot of friends that keep me on the Survivor side :)

It is funny because I have a good kill rate with my main, Trapper lol And I did not lose any killer game during the PTB… 4Ks only. So as a survivor main, what I'm hearing is I'm better than the killers whining lol

the purposed slugging change is good. 90 seconds every time survivors are downed is fine, but they need to get rid of the basekit tenacity.
the purposed tunneling change is bad. A killer shouldnt be punished for killing. Instead of punishment the devs need to fix the core issue which is survivor objectives take a way shorter time than killer objectives. Especially after the pallet buff and low tier killers

Also, after I posted the original post above, I played 3 survivor games with a friend. And 2 were hard tunnelers right off hook, and the third slugged all 4 people without hooking. So these changes need to be made.

I am okay with removing the base kit tenacity.
I do think that there needs to be a penalty for hard tunneling. That's why I said to disable the penalty after 60 seconds. That guarantees that the killer is less likely to hard tunnel, but can still kill that same survivor a minute later. Hard tunnelling is never okay. It shows a severe lack of skills. I get all of my 4Ks without tunneling, slugging, or camping. If I can do that as a survivor main, then killer mains should be able to as well.

I am a survivor main that knows how to kill. Remember BHVRs goal is for killers to win 60% of the time and survivors to survive 40% of the time. I am within that range. If you are doing a lot more than that, then you are probably doing unsportsmanlike things like hard tunnelling.

hard tunneling is necessary a good amount of the times. That would still hard punish mid - low tier killers (borderline killing killers like new Myers, onryo or pyramid head). Gens are way too fast currently and that 60 seconds is harsher than it sounds. (this could decide on losing or winning a game). Also your admission of being a survivor main doesn't exactly help your argument since you do not understand the reasons behind these strategies and consequences of the punishment

I never tunnel off hook with Onryo and still get 4Ks. I am not sure what the issue is? Just go after the unhooker. It takes real skill to go after the unhooker, but very little (if any) skill to go after the unhooked. I have had new players (friends of mine) uninstall the game after only a few games due to hard tunnelling. Let the killers hard tunnel, with a penalty.

I have 541.3 hours of killer according to DBD Stats. I think I've played enough killer to know how to win without camping, tunelling, or slugging. Specific stats are below (from DBD Stats official page)

And i have 1,183.8 hours on killer. And lets say you dont tunnel, camp, slug or anything. Look at your kill rates? They are barely past 56% which shows you do not get on average much kills. (which not only just brings your mmr down massively, majority of it is below 50 going all the way down to the 20s) Again just proving there is fundamentally something wrong with killer objectives vs survivors

BHVR stated that their goal is for killers to win 60% of the time and survivors to win 40% of the time. If you are winning more than 60% then they need to fix their game.

Also note, most of those killers were only played for achievements and tomes. Then never played them again.
