DBD Halloween, The Realm Beyond Lampkin Lane, Soundtracks, Lobbys
Do you like Lampkin Lane the way it is, or not? I miss the spooky atmosphere it used to have. With more fog, more darkness, maybe flying autumn leaves, glowing pumpkins? Definitely more spookiness. This YouTube link here contains all the menu themes.
My favorite is the one from Halloween 2017
Friends have told me about it and said that the maps used to have a better atmosphere. Would you agree? And what is your favorite lobby? Or your favorite music?
Are you looking forward to the upcoming Halloween event? I hope it will be spooky...

Well, the atmosphere on lampkin lane and all the other maps were changes since most maps were too dark while it was cool, it was on certain maps really hard to see. Lamkin lane is in my opinion as for a map in a good spot right now, it's rather balanced. And as for the Halloween event, around that time the apparently "biggest" Collab is gonna release so I have high expectations.

honestly i agree. it feels very plain, especially during halloween season. in general im not crazy about the halloween event. doesnt seem festive enough.

Lampkin Lane is a mess.
- The lighting was miles better before Realm Beyond, and they could've kept it.
- The textures are however much better now.
- The road is a highway (are we in a suburb or not?) and a balance nightmare and a huge dead zone. It should be thinner.
- There are only 4 houses, and most of them have so many holes they might just collapse in on themselves. Some of these could be made into breakable walls at least. And at least 2 more houses should be added (they can be partially empty, and don't need to be strong)
- The map is too small. It should be longer. This would also help with the awful 3-gens it has.

The game had the best atmosphere in 2016

I miss old Haddonfield

To me the old graphics and atmosphere were great for its time and definitely stood out for a game made back in 2016. But it pains me to say that I dont think it would of been beneficial in the long run.
Todays day n age in gaming, graphics definitely play a bigger role than it did back in the day and the graphics are definitely more appealing to a wider outside audience.

BALANCED?!
I beg to differ with that statement.

Legend of the blendette. Game so dark you can't even see claudette crouched against a wall, and now theres bushes, and almost every character gets a full black outfit. But then again every killer can see people highlighted through the walls most of the round anyway lol

you know a map is way too small when a blight or ghoul can just get across it using their power only once. The games already done when you load onto the map with one of those 2 as the killer

At this point just take haddonfield outta the equation and rebuild it from the ground up there should be entire PTB's dedicated to map reworks. Its got nothing appealing to it barely any pallets, looking at from first glance if the game didnt tell ya you wouldnt know it was halloween related. Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk

You are just lost in nostalgia, some maps were so bad to see on that sometimes you'd think one of the survivors was ghostface crouching

As far as the atmosphere goes, yes. My friends told me that too, and when you watch the old videos with the old fog and darkness, it gives you goosebumps. Really creepy

Additionally when you walked across the map you could hear some weird ambient noise. I don't think it's in the game anymore but it was very creepy
