DC penalty question?
There has been more DCs than usual with survivors lately.
so my question is…how does the new DC penalty system work?
I remember them reworking it…the disabling part of it…and i honestly stopped paying attention after that.
Before it was one tier per day…what is it now?

The game remembers the most recent 20 games you've played, and the game knows how many of those games involved a ragequit. So, for example, if you ragequit in 10 of your most recent 20 games, your DC penalty is at tier 10.
This means your DC penalties no longer decay over time, and they only decay when you play additional games without ragequitting.
The only part that was temporarily kill switched, was Go Next punishing survivors for ragequitting in ways that don't involve a DC.

thats a big problem in the community. People have gotten so angry and jaded that they ragequeue all the time, at that point its just time quit playing the game for good chief you could be playing Expedition 33 or something but yet continue to play this game which makes you so angry.

I don't have a video, but I do have pictures that might help…
In the above picture, a survivor played 20 games. The survivor ragequit in 10 of these games (count the red squares). This means they are on tier 10 of penalties, because they ragequit in 10 games in the most recent 20 games.
In the above picture, the survivor played 10 more games (games 21 to 30), and successfully completed all 10 of them (count the green squares).
The above picture shows we only care about the most recent 20 games, which means we don't care about games 1-10 anymore. The survivor ragequit in 5 of these games. This means they are on tier 5 of penalties.

I get a lot of DCS when I play Ghoul and Plague and I get it, I don't have an issue with either killer but my teammates can't handle them. I don't get as much on Nurse and Blight but I think that's cause I've maxxed out my MMR on them and the survivors there enjoy the challenge :)

i dont tend to play ghoul because ppl give up right away, which is weird cuz theyre generally pretty easy to loop, but are notorious tunnelers. Most of the DCs I see are on SpringTrap and clown….and always upon being tunneled or camped. Weird how certain killers attract certain players

I’m not sure what times are associated with each tier, because testing it requires breaking game rules.
I know the penalties start small and get increasingly larger, but I don’t know more than that.

Hens did sort of test this when he tried a challenge of "winning in 7 minutes or less as Wesker"
At first, the penalty was rather small and insignificant, starting at like 1 minute or so, but it then rose to 15 minutes, 1 hour and so on, until it became a full day.
