How come leaving during a match is a bannable offense?

What if you have to go to work? What if your internet suddenly stops working? Power outage? I think its silly to be penalized for something you have no control over.

    You don't get it from one or a few DC's. If you constantly DC you'll get a penalty. You're not getting a queue penalty from your power or internet going out once in a blue moon. Also it's temporary, ranging from 30 seconds then upwards of minutes. Only increasing in time if you keep DCing.

    If your internet is so faulty it gets dropped nearly every other match then there's some serious issues there. Also, if you're about to head out for work, why are you queueing for a pvp game??
