New Michael Myers just feels like ass
He has like 50 000 new sound effects for EVERYTHING he does, tiering up? new sound effect, 50% of your gauge up? new sound effect, readying your power? new sound effect, using your power? new sound effect, and so on… From atmospheric sounds to sfx polution on a stealth killer.
I'm not sure what happened but all of his new animations are so half-assed, his knife from the Survivors' POV looks like a badly unwrapped UV map. Destroying pallets looks awfully unfinished.
Having a 40 meter Terror Radius on Michael is just laughable when you compare him to Oni who can move at mock speed while Michael is just walkin'.
You can tier up faster now yes, but your power runs out so fast that you can at max maybe down one Survivor during it unless they group up of course. That's another thing, who thought it would be a good idea to add a long-ass cooldown on a time limited power? You need to wait 6 seconds for your 1000 degree knife to cooldown I guess before you can use it again, counting with the 40 second duration you might aswell use it like 2 or 3 times per tier 3.
His stalk range also got nerfed for no reason? Why is it 32 meters now? Just to make room for an add-on that changes it back? Amazing design!
And all of this just to make him tiny bit stronger any stray way more from the source material, great job BHVR, Old Myers is dead and you killed him, we could have had something cool as a rework but all we got is dashslop™.

i dont know if its because people are just getting used to the new myers or if the rework is just that bad but pretty much all my matches as survivor v myers has been easy 3man escapes. east to see, big TR, easy to loop. old myers was pretty easy to loop but 1 slip and its tombstone. now i can make multiple mistakes and still be ok because worst case is i get hooked.

Some might even argue that Old Myers was better because he had a huge snowball potential, this new Myers is lucky if he downs more than one Survivor during his power, 40 seconds just isn't enough compared to his old 60 seconds + now you need to get into position due to the nature of the dash + you need to slow yourself down and wind up…
The whole rework is just an excuse so people stop bothering BHVR about him (which didn't really work out did it), I cannot explain how low care they put into this rework otherwise.

Slaughtering Strike is a pain to turn as well. This is the worst rework I have seen from BHVR tbh.

40 seconds with a charge up and an extra cooldown (for some reason) and he can get vacuumed into pallet breaks (instead of hitting the survivor) like other pallet break killers.
I don't care if he's like 10% stronger than old Myers, I just think his new design sucks and feels bad to play. All they had to really had to do was rework tombstone and keep him as-is, maybe try the stalk/pursuer mode concept if they really wanted to (but even that makes it so you're in stalk/evil incarnate 90% of the time since the singular reason to use pursuer mode is to deal with teams that don't heal, and considering healing is really fast these days…)
It's just lame. Soul-drainingly lame. Reminds me of what the Overwatch team did to Sombra.

The vast majority of the rework should be removed. You can keep the EW2/pursuer mode stat buffs (and maybe even throw them onto EW3 as well) and you can keep the new mori mechanic (and tombstones being gone). Pretty much everything else should just be reverted imo. Slaughtering strike is an awful addition, he feels much more clunky now, the terror radius nerfs made no sense, stalking is extremely watered down as a mechanic, and it's just not fun anymore for either side. Old Myers wasn't perfect but apart from changing tombstones (which was a good change) he just needed to get buffed, not a full rework that added and changed a bunch of stuff no one asked for. The rework has completely ruined this character.

My main pain points for him are:
- The Stalk range sucks.
- Tier 3 is way too short.
- The cooldown between strikes is absolutely terrible.
- The Warning sound is awful and destroys his "stealth".
- Pointless downsides for add-ons that don't need it. (Jewelry Box, Glass Fragment, Mirror Shard)

Also, I need to ask. Is there really a sound that plays when you fully charge up your power?
And secondly, didn't he already have a 40 meter TR in Tier 3?

There is even a sound when he is stalking you.

Yea, a global audio cue plays whenever his tier 3 is ready, he also plays an audio cue when he is at 50% of his stalk and when he is readying Slaughtering Strike.
And no, Michael used to have a 32 meter terror radius in tier 3, 16 meter in tier 2 (from the 24 he is now), and undetectable in tier 1.

I get an audio when Tier 3 is coming, but ALSO while it's 50% charged, and ALSO while it actually activates? Nope.
Also i dont get why his attack needs an audio warning too, is it not obvious enough?

bhvr hates stealth killers. Bhvr also just has an obsession with everything in the game having sound notifications. Ghostface was orginally going to have a global sound effect when he enters stealth but thankfully bhvr reverted that due to feedback.
