Survivors get remote generator repairs, and killers get "cool pallet breaking special effects"
The DBD Livestream just announced that in Haunted By Daylight, survivors get remote generator repairs, and killers get a new pallet breaking animation with "cool pallet breaking special effects".
Does one of these things seem more exciting than the other???

In all fairness, the survivor role usually always gets the lamer powers in most other events
I mean Killers getting remote hooking and remote pallet breaking compared to the survivor powers during the anniversary event for example
Then again, you could argue a power centered around generators is pretty lame because "gens = boring".

I mean true, but is the solution to that not to give BOTH sides something interesting. Rather than just swap which role has the shiny new toy?

I suppose, but remote generator repairs aren't exactly the most "exciting". I hope the effect will look cool though.
Killers also still get the haunt projectile too. So there's that.

They did quickly said the remote gen repair will only last for a short time. They didn't say exactly how long, but i'm gonna guess 5 seconds.

Survivors never get anything interesting or cool anymore. As far as I can tell, this is going to be another overreaction from the community that barely affects the game.

Then we had the Bloodmoon event were a single survivor could do gens in 30s depending on how far the pump spawned from the gen; or 2024 Halloween event where the void just destroyed some killers powers like the Knight or Twins; also, the 2025 masquerade party pallets could be abused by Swfs and put killers into lose lose situations with Flip flop and background player.
Its not a good thing that balance events around "who get the strongest stuff this time".
