Krasue Auto Aim
Am I the only one who thinks that the auto aim on leeching gland is fine? From my experience, anything that has bouncing logic (Trickster's Trick Blades, Unknown's UVX) is usually impossible to consistently land. The new killer is strong don't get me wrong, but i just think that there are more problematic aspects of her kit than that. Is there a specific reason why people dislike it that I'm not seeing?

I think it would be okayish if landing the projectile didn’t guarantee an incredibly quick death. But with her chase power being so strong, the only thing standing in the Krasue’s way is the need to infect Survivors beforehand. And the auto-aim just completely trivialises that.
She needs to either have auto-aim but a much weaker head form, or no auto-aim and a stronger head form.
Both is too much.

I agree with that. On the ptb, people had no problem with her auto aim and thought she was balanced. I think she should be reverted to her ptb version but with the current mushroom amount. Every other change just made her broken.

Her auto aim is indeed less problematic than other issues, but it creates two situations
- Her power don’t have skill progression. If comparing to the Unknown, this killer to give you good result requires to spend time on learning how ability works with surfaces. So it’s natural balancing - new killers vs new survivor. I can’t speak too much for his mains, but I also a big fan of other range killer and learning how your power plays in every loop and distance is the most interesting, what characters with such ability can provide. Krasue… Lacks it :/
- It also create an excuse to not fix issues with actual projectile. Both Trickster blade’s with bounce addon and Unknown power would work much better if the developers took the time to fix the collisions in their own game. Now, there are bugs that denies skill of players, making them frustrated and disappointed, so they switch to other characters.
Her auto aim is a crutch in a both sences - crutch for people who want strong killer works well without putting much effort to it, and crutch for devs who continue to release maps without thoughtful testing of collisions and hitboxes there

no it isn’t fine, because it takes away from skillfull plays and lowers the skill ceiling. I love unknown one of my mains and if uvx auto tracked i would drop him, i’ve spent time getting his shots consistent and learning how the bounce worked.

I think its fine if you compare it with Plagues infection. If this part of her kits gets too difficult, weaker players cant access her entire kit.
But i said compared to Plague. Her power needs to get weakened to that level. It should be difficult to loop, but not like now.
She should also have a higher cooldown for it and a longer down time for an m1 after it.

I think that leeching gland and UVX are not on the same level in terms of strength. Leeching gland does nothing other than infect people with shotgun projectiles. UVX can injure people in an aoe if you land it consistently. I think they should just nerf her head form and make leeching gland have a higher cooldown.

I would agree that if they are to remove the auto aim, then they need to fix environmental hit boxes so that killers don't get punished for bad map geometry. But until then i think the auto aim should stay.

I feel if this will be used as pressure tool on devs - maybe. Krasue need other nerfs much more anyway

To me, it kinda cheapens the potential skill expression?
Like, I was kinda hyped that more interesting shots could be made with this, since it's just a shotgun blast of infection. I was kinda excited to learn some neat tricks to make the projectiles do fun things, but now it's kinda taken some of that magic out, I dunno.
That's just me though, who already likes Unknown's UVX.0
