Is Burong still in control of her human form in the entity's realm?

I absolutely love the Krasue's lore. It's short but really good!

After hearing her voicelinesI do havea couple of questions.

From her lore we know that Burong isn't aware of what the Krasue does at night, or atleast that she doesn't remember what happens. However in the trail the two of them have to work togther, I mean we as the player can swap between body and head form at will. This got me thinking, did the entity give them some extra powers or control? I imagine that outside of the entity's realm Burong's body doesn't just regenerate at the Krasue's will. According to the actual folklore a Krasue can be killed by destroying the headless human body while the Krasue is away, or moving the body so the Krasue has nowhere to go and thus they will die when day comes. The fact that Burong's body can be completely regenerated at will in the trails shows that the entity already influenced their ability in some way.

The krasue also has a couple of voicelines that got me thinking. The first one is "These bones weigh heavy." I find this line kinda interesting since it could just be Burong being tired, but it could also be the Krasue having to get used to controlling a full human body, instead of just floating around with the organs. The next line is "It will never be day again." Again the line isn't too telling, but it could be the Krasue saying this and hinting that they will now always be in control. Another line is "to float on the breeze" which is something that I don't really think makes sense for Burong to say, but the Krasue literally flies so it makes sense for the Krasue say this. however this is a line Burong says in the lobby, which is weird to me. There are a couple of other lines that reference flying and stuff, but I won't write them all out.

I think the other part that got me thinking is the way Burong twitches and the permanent mark on her neck. Based on her lore and outfit descriptions it seems like to me that Burong normally doesn't have such an scar around her neck.

My last point is that based on her lore Burong never enjoyed killing or directly killed anyone herself. She leds the Krasue kill people to eat, but Burong herself doesn't kill anyone. The krasue is more so something she's okay with as long as she gets the fame she wants. This all makes it very strange to me that she's kiling survivors in the realm and especially that she's enjoying it. I would think Burong would feel awfull in the realm since she's lost all her fame. Her fame was the one reason she was okay with the Krasue's curse and now she lost it and thus doesn't get anything out of having the Krasue. Between burong and the Krasue, who would the entity want to be in permanent control? It's obviously the Krasue since the Krasue only cares about satiating their hunger and will thus constantly want to kill survivors, while Burong would feel hessistant and possibly even refuse because she has no desire to kill anyone. The krasue even entered the realm willingly, while we have no idea what Burong thought of that.

All this leads me to think that the Burong we see in game is actually completely under the influence of the Krasue and it's the krasue controlling both forms. This is happenign either because it's permanently night in the realm or because the entity gave the Krasue that ability. Other possibilities could be that the Krasue and Burong have now kinda merged or now have memories of what the others does. This is kind off unlikely to me since I don't get why Burong would be enjoying killing survivors.

I wish someone like you was writing the lore. Someone that can think of all angles and make it all make sense.

Regarding your final point, maybe she doesn't enjoy the killing but goes along with it because she thinks its her ticket to getting out of this situation and back in the spotlight. Since the lore indicates that she has become indifferent to the killing the Krasue does I assume she would feel this way in the Entity's realm too.

I think when she was initially cursed, there was a clear separation between Burong and the Krasue, but as time went on and Burong gave in to the hunger more and more, the distinction between the two began to disappear.

Now that they are in the Fog, the distinction between the two is now fully gone. Maybe there’s a little piece of that opera singer screaming on the inside, but for all intents and purposes, the two are now working in concert to satisfy their endless hunger.

I really like that interpretation! Like the Krasue's curse slowy corrupted Burong herself.
I hope we get a tome for her in the future that touches on the relationship between Burong and the Krasue a bit more.

Something that I want to note is that Burong, even when we remove the Krasue from the equation, is really not a good person. Sure, she's not exactly evil in the way someone like Trickster (an actually fairely comparable character) is, but the only reason she took Malai's elixir was a selfish desire for fame. She showed no sympathy after the Krasue devoured Malai, and when she got home and started crying, it wasn't because she had murdered her best friend a few hours earlier, but because the director confirmed she got the part she wanted. And she was perfectly fine with harboring the Krasue and letting it murder innocents if it meant making her famous. She's not exactly innocent herself.

Now, it's also important to note that the Entity didn't reach out to Burong, but rather the Krasue itself. And even in body form, there's the whole slit neck going on, as well as the changes that she undergoes when she's Regurgitating, and her voice actor even states that the direction she took her voice was "the impression the Krasue is trying to appear as a normal woman, though feeling something isn't quite right about her".

With that evidence, I don't think Burong is entirely in control of what she's doing, but I don't think she'd be entirely adverse to it either if the Entity convinced her that doing its bidding would further her fame to new, previously unattainable peaks.

The flavor text of her bloody prestige cosmetics seem to imply that she just doesn't care about what she drank the saliva for to begin with and primarily cares about murder and satiating the hunger.

Even if she still technically independent on a literal level, she is really just an extension of the Krasue with no real will of her own. Nothing matters besides satiating the hunger. The Krasue is not just a parasite but something eventually completely absorbs as apart of itself her even if she is still conscious. That's my interpretation anyway.
