Kill Switch update: We have temporarily disabled The Legion due to an issue that allows for infinite power spam. The Legion will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

So. Many. Idling. DR'S.

How do you have so many dr using clickers and farming? They all run the same passive slowdown and it is insanely boring. I have reported them, nothing happens. I have used video evidence, nothing. On a previous post a mod said it was not even a bannable offense. This is ruining the game for a lot of us in Asia.

When killer doesnt do anything survivors are angry and frustrated and when he is doing his job too well and even tunnels to be more effiecent they are angry and hate him too, Im kinda begining to get confused here whats the problem, sure it can be annoying if you play for chases but its free escape with easy points in short time so I dont see that huge problem as you claim and tbh Im kinda sad I dont get killer match like this in 1/10 matches because its way better for chalanges like gens or getting out with hatch and etc. than normal game.

Why would anyone want to play against an AFK killer? And nothing says that the survivors complaining about a killer doing their job too well and survivors complaining a killer AFKing are the same survivors, so why even bundle those complaints together? I personally find it intensely boring to match against an AFK killer, what's the fun in that? A lot of players don't have challenges to complete or anything like that and don't care if they can get them done easy with an AFK killer, I'm willing to bet most survivors just want to play a regular match and AFK killers get in the way of that. Think of it like this, let's say HALF you matches was an AFK killer. That would ruin the game. That's why this kind of gameplay should be discouraged, because if everyone set up an AFK doctor bot overnight then you'd have a coinflip of getting into an actual match or an AFK bot match.

The doctors he's referring to are AFK bots. They've been around for a long time. There's no one even playing the killer, it's just a program.

I thought an afk killer gets an initial warning message about further action will be taken if it happens again?

I got one when I had already started the match count down and didn't play for some reason.

Anyway warning message appeared on my in-box when I next put dbd on.

Don't know what happens after initial warning message although I assume something is in place or is it a pointless attempt to try and 'scare' you into not doing it again and there's actually no punishment?

It's always Doctors used for this because the bot releases his shocks periodically, so it hits survivors and earns bp etc. Some survivors will also use it to farm, like let themselves get hit and then heal each other for bp. So it may not necessarily appear to the game like the killer is afk.

Quite literally this, they're super common in the graveyard hours for DbD and beginner MMR.

This is what my friends and I do every time we come across an AFK Doctor, sure it's helping the BP farmer get BP faster, but survivors deserve to get something from the match too.

Wraith is also a very popular AFK BP farmer too, but the AI for some reason doesn't know how to uncloak, so it just stands still while cloaked at spawn.

If you want ful chase ok then its boring but how many of these doctors of yours you face in week? I would bet you get like 5 in 7 days and thats the big issue here?

Is it a big issue to do all gens in 6-7 minutes range and leave, I dont believe you are gitting them every evening.

He is reffering to this afk killer like its big issue something like cheaters, is that bad to just spend 7 minutes and be out of that game. Only problem it would be if you get them every day minimaly 2-3 times but I dont think this is so common to get them and they dont destroy your games like cheaters or survivors sabotaging their own team which is more impactfull to the match then just afk bot who just stands in one place and isnt even stealthy because you can clearly hear him spawning shocks its just free escape and more rewarding game then 4 man slug on 5 gens game tbh.

Because sometimes it's 2 back to back, and they always run insane passive slowdown builds that drag on amd on wasting your time. Even 5 of these a week is like 50 minutes to an hour wasted, and sometimes you only have time for one or 2 games.

Back when I first started playing, I used to see a lot of them in the early hours, around 5 to 7 a.m. It was usually a mix of clickers (or whatever you call them) and idle killers. You could always tell when you were about to get matched with a clicker because they’d constantly toggle between ready and not ready until the timer ran out.

I’ll admit, sometimes it was a bit of a relief , especially if I was doing an escape or blind the killer Tome challenge, but yeah, it got boring fast.

I’d have to say I haven’t seen one in about two years now. I just assumed BHVR had finally figured out a way to deal with them. That said, I don’t play as much as I used to, so maybe that’s part of it. I still hop on during those early hours, though to get in a few games before work.

I play in the Asia servers, so that likely has to do with it
