I fail to see how these PTB changes will change tunneling much.

    I mean, you are asking for adjusting play style to your own prefences, so this is kinda silly argument here about forcing everyone to play like specific region. The question above was in the way how people can play in response of killer player behaviour.

    And Asian players aren’t that strong in terms of looping and not that sweaty, as people love to stereotype. Just absence of excessive altruism, general stealth and team responsibility as being a trait of people behaviour, to counter other kind of people behaviour in this game

    The question wasn’t in how you can play. The question was in about how “fix” killer player behaviour by suggesting. And answer was in using survivor behaviour, not changing mechanics or sth.

    This region just showed its not that hard to give killers average rate of 56% killrate even in such state, and that it’s all about BOTH sides behaviour, not only killer one in terms of tunneling.

    so when is it a case of skill issue? im an average player and im not having an issue. maybe you need more practice being stealthy? as others have pointed out, asian servers have higher escape rate and lower kill rate. what do these people have that you dont? what do i have that you dont? clearly your doing something wrong if nothing you do works but it works for others.

    It would be a case of skill issue if I was new to the game and I didnt know what I was doing.

    But come a tunneler then its over, just played today, once one teammate is dead its over no chance to comeback.
    Had 2 games with a teammate dead at 4 gens left and this is my fault???

    yes your partly to blame for that….i mean if the killer is tunneling 1 person out, what are the other 3 doing? it should be gens. if the killer can tunnel out 1 person and only 1 gen get done then thats serious misplay by the survivors. when all else fails, there's always the hatch as an escape option. did you go for hatch?

    so when I'm killer and i hard tunnel at 5 gens, how are some people somehow getting gens done and escaping? they have to be doing it somehow.

    so assuming you were the only one doing gens which is very possible because im often the only one doing gens in my matches, when all 3 survivors were going down faster than you can do gens, did you go for hatch? did you leave them to die? did you try to help?

    i just played a match v bubba. they might have been a tunneler or slugger they might not have been, i wouldnt know because i looped them for so long they DC'd. just one example of how to counter a tunneler, loop them well enough and they will either waste too much time getting you down and cost them the match, abandon chase and try someone else or just flat out DC. potential tunneling match avoided before it began.

    If nothings done about tunneling then we need the old gen speeds back. Gen rush it gen rush it. lol

    Well, BHVR literally can't do anything because they refuse to actually address the real balance issues with the game and the community is, quite frankly, too dull to critically think about it. They aren't going to push through actual changes that would prevent tunneling or slugging because then SWF will just abuse the hell of it, right? Making Killer matches even more miserable. So whatever they push live has to not really embolden SWF which in turn means it won't do jack ######### for SoloQ…. which is the area this issue most affects, right?

    Meanwhile, BHVR claims, via stats, that most Survs are in SoloQ, but any suggestion of actual balance changes for SWF, who statistically are the minority group of Survs in DBD, is met with extreme pushback and threats of leaving. Yet again, SoloQ is in the worst state it's ever been to where BHVR is rushing to bandaid fix this mess, but the majority of Surv players, again stat wise, is claimed to be SoloQ. It's a circular mess that both BHVR and the community refuses to actually address because they want the upper hand in the game instead of an actually balanced game.

    SWF should receive nerfed, SoloQ should receive targeted buffs and all Killers balanced out around that.

    im just glad anti-camp is added to the hud and hopefully an improved tutorial to explain it.

    and im glad they wont just let killers tunnel for free when survivors have to use perks to counter them,
    but then we do, use conviction, its unfair and op.
    you really need to kick their ass and actually make it a challenge just as much as spreading hooks,
    not just get a free win because a fresh install dwight and no one ran shoulder the burden.

    since its basically useless in ptb, they dont have a reason to complain.
    (but probably will since they cant bleedout slug against 3 survivors anymore out of spite).

    didnt killers already nerf and killed the stealth aspect of survivors by letting distortion rot and then getting aura perks buffed and added?.

    you cant really bring up this point if they already did this and got away with it without a 2nd thought or chance to rework it.

    same with sm.
