Carryover lobby BUG from 9.1.2--Some players never get 'player wants to join your lobby' requests
DISCLAIMER: I have seen other users report this exact issue for months, often being erroneously told that "this appears to be a technical issue," as if it is not a bug. Let's be clear: This is not a 'technical issue.' This is a bug specific to DBD and results from the 9.1.2 patch.
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
- Some, but not all, Steam players never receive 'player wants to join your lobby' requests and have never once received them since their implementation a couple months ago.
- These same Steam players are able to request to join a friend's lobby only once.
- Playing a single results in the dissolution of the lobby if either the Steam player leaves the postgame match screen prior to someone else in the same lobby or if the Host leaves after the Steam player, after which:
- These same Steam players receive a frozen friendslist from the moment that their first match finishes; players who are online on that list will continue to appear online and players who are offline will continue to appear offline, regardless of their actual status. Note that their STEAM friendslist is unaffected, only the list on Dead by Daylight is compromised by this bug.
- These same Steam players do not show as online to their friends on Dead by Daylight, even while Steam shows them online and shows them as active on Dead by Daylight.
- After the dissolution of the first lobby, they will be unable to join ANY new lobbies irrespective of the platform of the other people in the lobby they are attempting to join.
- The aforementioned Steam player, if they attempt to relog, will be met with the account error in the attached screenshot.
FIXING THE ISSUE:
- If the Steam player dies and is able to spectate a third player while the host leaves the match, the lobby will not be dissolved. The Dead by Daylight friendslist will still be frozen.
- If the lobby does dissolve, the Steam player may relog after a match takes place.
- The Steam player may play on the same BHVR account on a different platform, this seems to avoid the issue.
PLATFORM: Steam (PC)
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURRED:
See above.
VIDEO: N/A, see attached image.

There are several other cases of this, so I hope this does not get ignored as a 'technical issue' again.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Friend cannot play in my lobby and I cannot play in his as the inviting does not work he will not receive it when he invites me it just comes through xbox app which only allows me to stream.
PLATFORM: Xbox PC with game pass
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
I am on PC Xbox app game pass my friend is on xbox. It only shows him online for me I am able to invite him but he does not receive it. He tries to invite me in the actual dbd game but it only goes through xbox which will only allow those on PC to stream. It is just this one friend. We have tried unadding each other through both xbox and dbd itself and still does not work. I am able to play with this person if he joins through another friends lobby. The other friend is on xbox game pass PC same as me. No one has been blocked it is just this one specific friend.
He had this issue with the other person as well and fixed it through revoking consent and reenabling it. But this fix is not working for us.
I recently enabled crossplay through xbox and PC on the behavior website as well did the other friend that has to be the middle man.
