I find survivor too easy and boring now
There is no challenge anymore. There are way too many pallets. Way too many restrictions made for killers and soon there will be more help for us.
I just don't get it honestly. Aren't we getting spoon fed way too much? I don't want to run from loop to loop and feel like I have a safety net with second chance perks. I feel nasty for bringing decisive strike, dead hard, vigil, sprint burst, ghost notes, or whatever perk that is currently considered meta.
Survivor is as boring as ever. I don't want to play killer because I know how the survivor meta is. There is no challenge anymore. Mindgaming is dead and all I did was chain pallets to survive. Bring Windows of Opportunity and you'll know.
Make killers an actual threat. I don't see the point of escaping every match with 4 man out for weeks. An escape streak of 102 is ridiculous and it won't stop increasing until BHVR actually balances the game.

This is the direction the devs want the game to go. They want to make it so there's only 1 valid way to play the game and remove any variance between matches.

Most of the bhvr devs have said they are survivor mains and this is always the case. The pallet change might have been needed a little bit on a couple maps, but the density increase to all is insane. You're right, if it wasn't already bad, now all survs have to do is chain infinite pallets.

I remember back then 2020 it was so hard to escape with my 4 man majority of the time it’s been so easy the last few years they get bored very fast.

Killer isnt bad if you dont play weaker killer or m1 killer these were nerfed hard with pallet densitx uptdate and they will be nerfed harder by patch 9.3.0 if it goes live as it is now.
I just had match as pinhead on knights map (forgot that dam realm name) and one survivor just played by prethrowing each pallet and guess what there werent any dead zones just pallet on every structure and I won it but it was hard game if I didnt get lucky with cube two times by downing kate and starting chainhunt and than after hooking her I went to kick gen into near corner and cube spawned there which was free info with slowdown.
Pinhead is now terrible not only the patch 9.3.0 has some change for one of his best addon (the one that puts survivors into deepwound when they are injured and you hit the chain, think its called something like rusty chain or what) but his chains are bad like why he breaks them himself now is mystery to me because other survivors can do it, the environent to and than chained survivor his power is starting to feel outdated not to mention hitting his chain is hard and its same as blink with nurse with the addon that shows you where your blink will end but nurse has other blink and can hit survivor, pinhead just stops and if he hits the chain it will slow survivor like for 3-4 seconds and the less chains are in survivor the faster he moves not to mention his counterplay about how easy is to break the chains.

i don't tunnel, camp, or bring OP killers, I just aura read dredge and have nothing else but 4ks after 4ks so I stopped playing for a while

I’d say I’m well above average as a survivor, but since these stats come almost entirely from Solo Queue, I get why some killers might feel frustrated. That said, I usually just focus on doing gens and only take chases when I have to, and even then, plenty of teammates have still died while I managed to escape the trials.
Would you mind showing that escape streak you mentioned? Is it yours or from a CC?

Survivor is indeed very easy right now and soon even more. The problem is that the majority of the player base is also extremely casual. If you get a decent amount of hours like us, you'll get these high escape rates, that is just the sad reality of it. I think most of us veterans just quit the game at that point due to boredom. At least I did, I just can't get myself to log in anymore, not even for the event.
People need to open their eyes to that they are destroying the game with all their complaining on survivor side (again, for me it alrdy is at this point).
It's sad, cause I have spent a LOT of time over the years, since 2016 in the game. Thousands of hours and also spend a lot of money on it. The last time I dropped cash was for Chucky, years ago at this point. I haven't opened my wallet since, not until BHVR gets their act together. Sometimes I like to believe BHVR 'WANTS' the game to die at this point, cause they sure are trying rly hard ;)

Yup same here, literally any time I queue up as killer its a full meta russian squad… Like When I see 4 of those names enter my lobby at the same time, I alrdy feel like alt-F4 cause it wont be a fun match, nor will it be a good day.

Even though I only play Solo and I have a mere 42% escape rate (Mostly because I'm not very good at looping and don't have Windows), Survivor still feels piss-easy. It's pretty much all just "Do gens, unhook people, heal teammates, rinse and repeat".
I play Survivor when I want to have a relaxed game. Killer, by contrast, has become a nightmare; and from everything I've seen, it's only going to get worse from here.

Vigil/Sprint Burst combo is just totally broken, especially since the pallet increase, because you can always get to any loops in any time, and 90% of the killer roster can't do anything about it.
It's just stupidly OP, and I'm seeing it in almost every game.

Isn't the stats page broken? Otz was talking about this the other day on his stream. Survivor abandons are still counting as escapes so none of us have any idea how inflated this is. I don't think any reliable conclusions can be drawn from it until this is fixed.

Matches where you abandon are not counted for the escape rate stat.

I'm going against that build, and mostly running Blast Mine, Iron Will, Botany and Scene Partner.

Yup, Me and many others use it for good reason. You can literally jump on a gen in a complete deadzone, and because of SB for starters you will be completely safe. SB on its own is alrdy a massively good perk in that regard, as it help you do gens safely. Nothing to worry. Then if I run to shack, I can do the walk tech and regain SB with vigil. Watch the killer DC as he watches me SB a 2nd time to one of the 100 connected tiles, without even dropping shack pallet… And who can blame that killer. He just wasted 30-60 secs with no value.

I'm pretty sure they said they fixed that months ago. Either way, Look at my average hooks per match. I only get hooked once on average. That is how easy my matches are. If you think that stat is all abandons, you can just look at average hooks. Just like the guy above me, rounded also 1 hook on average per match. We just don't get caught often, hence we escape a lot.
Also, look at the build I am abusing. If you don't understand why this build is incredibly OP and usefull in almost every situation, you are playing it wrong. More than half of the killer roster literally can't deal with this build. No matter how good they are, they can't deal with it due to the nature of that build, what it does.
