Pc gamers. I gotta Question
I see my game is capped at 120fps. Is this the max dbd goes? Or am I just doing something wrong?
Thx.

No one knows tbh.
The key thing is what you play as like some killers have techs that work better on 60 fps and others have it better on 120 fps. On survivor if you use balanced landing and drop from smaller hight than on 60 fps it will activate and on 120 it wont so best advice is play with fps that benefit you more but I dobt think now its possible to run the game above 120 fps.

Also, higher fps can make your ping lower...

Why do you want the game to be more than 120 frames? This game doesn't really need it. Anyways it does seem that it's just capped and idk why.

Why? Because I can. I have beefed up my system and thought it odd I can't physically go higher than this despite my capabilities to do so. Was wondering if others have tweeked settings and saw this.

I guess it's just a personal preference of mine to always have it capped so that you're consistently hitting a nice point instead of pinballing around the 200's. With dbd though my system is kinda crap and so I'm normally sitting around 60 fps, so I don't really have a clue if there is a hard cap at 120 fps. If you're still looking for a solution ik that you used to be able to change the fps cap through the config files, don't know if that's still a thing though because I haven't done it in forever.

120 is the max intended framerate, yes.

In short, the game breaks when it runs faster than 120 fps.
Besides, 120 is smooth enough for this kind of game0
