Why are the survivor queue times so long now?
This is including PTB. I just want to play survivor with my friends not wait in queue.

Returned to normal dbd(not ptb) and we've sat here waiting 12 minutes for a match only to get a sweaty comp blight. What's going on?

Queue times are a lot better during the day. I do agree if you play in the evening(USA times) they can be pretty bad.

Yeah but that's when most people are at work or school. It's really bad to return from work and just sit there waiting for a match this long.

Uhm I dont know maybe because killers are Actually Leaving the game Actually. Like many players i know play killer stopped playing.
Im not saying this to complain but to give a possibility of the games dieing right now

I played for survivor and it was instant? But on my 6th game something happened. I wasn’t able to queue. I waited around 20 minutes (London servers)

Survivor is instant for me in the morning and early daytime. Killer is instant for me in the evening and late night. Survivors party up during the evenings because more people are available.

the London servers are only up on certain days, so maybe it's something to do with that and splitting the playerbase randomly

For me survivor queues are fast early day and long at night when all the swf squads get on so the killers stop queuing.

Not sure really. My Killer queues are fine but Survivor took a while yesterday.

That's what can happen when killers are punished too much or survivors get to many hand holding buffs. Power role gets flipped and since there's less killer players then survivors once killers start leaving survivor que times takes significantly longer and may end up dead like Death Garden or that VHS monster game.
Or they're just away at work or something there's usually more online later in the evening when they get home.

Lmao same here, as a killer main don't whine just adpat hell the game is more fun now than ever with these instant queues. It's been a while. If you get cooked who cares within seconds you're in a new match. The game isnt balanced and I doubt it ever will be so just enjoy what you can about it you'll win some fairly, you'll win some by typical DBD servers bs same for loses. (This wasn't directed at you @bongoboys)

10-20 seconds for killer wait for me

wonder if we been matched up…. you seem to play the same time as me and the uk server has limited survivor pool.

Yeah same here. Quick queues for survivor during the day, longer waits in the evenings (sometimes 5-10 minutes) when more people are playing with their friends. This isn’t anything new.

Depends on your region, MMR, time of day etc. In general, during the day it's instant survivor and 1-2 min for killer for me, and then that flips once 9pm hits

Yeah honestly hot take but it's probably a good thing killer players are getting filtered by these changes there isn't enough survivors to cater to everybody and playing survivor sure ain't fun with all the camping tunneling and slugging.
We're weeding out the bad players who heavily rely on that stuff need to go.

Ehm, you understand that if survivor queues get long, it means there is a deficit in killer players for the waiting survivor pool, right?
It means there is no shortage of survivor at that given time but not enough killer players.
"Filtering out" more of them would make the issue worse.

5- 10 minute wait just for someone to get hard tunneled. Killers quitting because of changes they directly caused. With zero self reflection that they’re to blame for these changes.
I still play killer, i have zero intentions of quitting as i don’t tunnel these changes don’t scare me. I’m enjoying the instant queue, also enjoying having more of a challenge lately. I rather lose a close game than stomp a squad at 5 gens.

downvoted or not this is nothing but truths the queue times will hit 2020 levels. 20-30 mins for survivors.
