Kill Switch update: The Mastermind has been Kill Switched due to an issue with Virulent Bound. The Mastermind will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

Perfect example that the devs don't think about their lazy changes for longer then 5 Minutes:

Do you guys know this pretty bad perk called Beast of Prey? The perk that gives you 40 seconds of Undetectable whenever you gain Bloodlust?

Well in the upcoming Patch 9.3.0 Killers gain Bloodlust whenever they hook a new Survivor. So Beast of Prey activates all the time. Making every killer a stealth killer for 90% of the round.

How does a mistake and overlook like this happen? In the game itself is a search option where you can type in any Effects and it shows all perks that have to something to do with it...i don't even know what Developer tools the devs have.

And now for the bonus question. Will the A) actually put effort in and change it or B) will simply nerf a already bad perk.

90% is quite hyperbolic. It’s also requiring downing a player, hooking and it needs to be fresh. The perk doesn’t seem unreasonable atm. Let it bake and see if it needs addressing next patch. It’s also the only thing making the bloodlust have any real value.

To be fair, I think they can just simply nerf this and fix it.

If BoP only gave, say, 25 seconds of Undetectable, it'd be much harder to chain uses but would still be a very useful off-hook stealth pick. A number change could fix the oversight in this instance.

Agreed seeing people running it i think its a very healthy pick but the duration does need to be lowered a bit. It does nothing if you tunnel. (Sounds like another nerfed perk hm?) So having perks that encourage that is a better way to do it. Rather not see them nuke it or rework it again when we finally have a chance for it to be actually half decent.

Ok, I think they fully knew that this is a thing, and conciously left it in.

Since, why else fully rework Furtive Chase, and not kust remove Haste from it, if not for the fact that BoP overshadows it now?

It breaks Kindred's killer aura effect. Its funny how killers have better, more reliable, and easier to pull off hiding perks and effects than survivors.
