Awakened Awareness' Corpse Still Yet To Be Found Since PTB
No really tho can we get the extra couple seconds of linger post hook/drop back? Starstruck nurse was the ONLY reason it didn't happen, that's gone now. I want more weak perk buffs as opposed to the current axing of Furtive Chase.

Yeah we need to stop having so many things held back for the majority of the roster just because nurse/blight exist. It's ruining things for everyone else.

The thing is, that's not the case anymore. There is no killer holding it back now at all. We already have Nowhere to Hide that lets Nurse play on autopilot anyway (this is infinitely more problematic than AwA was on her even WITH starstruck).
But BHVR has a tendency to forget entire killers exist (some time back one of them forgot Freddy was a killer in the game lmfao). So I imagine they forget a solid 1/3 of the perks even exist.2 -
As Blueberry says I wish they'd deal with those lot so we can have actual nice perks on our other killers.

Yeah I wish we’d nerf the top outliers like nurse, blight so we can finally improve many things. So many things are nerfed unnecessarily hard for everyone else just because those outliers can abuse it. I’m not sure what their reluctance to do so is related to. Maybe it’s so they say it’s not pay to win since the better killer is free or maybe it’s they don’t want to hurt the comp scene, idk what it is.

Now that "some killers" were nerfed, I think it should probably go back to how it was.
Tink deserved it. It wasn't just Blights abusing it, it was any killer with high mobility.
There were also like 9 trillion Pop/Tink/Ruin/Undying Freddy players.

There were still a million different ways to approach it, like giving it a cooldown or just having it act differently on some killers instead of making it be unable to help you out more than once per gen. Particularly after ruin was gutted for a long long time.

I think Tinkerer is in a good spot, it's still a really good perk.
Ruin being put to 150% means that there's no way it should be buffed at all, either, Tinkerer meta was the most free info possible, and was the biggest snoozefest next to Eruption.

I'm in the minority here, I'm not actually sure it was just Starstruck Nurse who could benefit too much from Awakened Awareness having a linger.
Spirit was good with it on that PTB, as I recall, and I think even I managed to get some nasty results with Clown of all killers using the same combo.Besides, it's not as though AA is a bad perk or anything. Every time I end up running it through something like Chaos Shuffle, I remember that it's honestly a pretty damn good perk and I should run it more.
Then I don't, but that's on me, not on the perk.Never understood why everyone leaps to extremes for perk changes. Awakened Awareness, PTB Furtive Chase, current Tinkerer, none of these are nearly as bad as some people make them out to be.
I wouldn't even really buff AA or Tinkerer, though PTB Furtive Chase could use some adjustments.1 -
Honestly, I do run it sometimes, and the main thing I'd want is a small range increase. Something like +4-8m would be very nice.

I could see that being appropriate. I'm not against it getting buffs, I just don't think it's a perk languishing in the gutter the way others do, lol

I don't think it's the biggest perk's problem. 20 meters is very small radius and in majority of your games you are just see no value at all. "Ah yeah, everyone is somewhere on the map on gens. Great info."
Even with 28 meters there will be bunch of more useful info perks.0
