UV add-on idea for flashlight

what if there was a flashlight addon called uv light. the UV light would work like this: whenever the player aims the flashlight at the killer, the distance is halved, but it blinds the killer slightly faster, and applies a new "Burned" status effect, where the killer's speed is slower and they can't activate their power and if it's a toggle, they automaticailly exit (Like the wraith is forced to be visible or the nurses phase is disabled, or when the huntress is aiming, they simply drop the hatchet, or the animatronic's axe stops sending out pulses and can't be recalled, or can't be thrown) but, the killer's actual state of being blinded is lessened. i'm thinking the status effect will last 10 seconds after blinded.
