Checking out of the pallet break simulator
5k hours plus killer here.
Tired of the survivor landholding with pallets every five feet simply allowing survs to drop, move to next pallet, ad infinitum.
My playtime is becoming nil next to this and seriously (after 5 + years playing) considering a complete uninstall.

I assume since the pallet density increase you've played on Gideon's? That's a map that certainly did not need a pallet increase. That's an absolute nightmare now, and it was bad before.

Multiple maps have the issue. It makes them pretty much unplayable for killer. Devs refuse to even acknowledge that it's an issue.

Did the devs ever acknowledge some mistake? I just dont remember any just like their TWD stream with Otz and Chandlers, they dont make mistakes or its more like they think they dont but worse as you said is they dont acknowledge them.

gideons didn’t get affected by pallet density. it was only like 8 realms that got the pallet density update. gideons always had 23-24 pallets consistently every single variation of it.

I'd say that all the newly "pallet enhanced" levels are even more stupidly aggravating than gideon's ever was.

It wasn't outright stated as such but it was implied they'll be reducing pallets in the next patch. Don't worry, they'll be making all the maps nice safe kiddie pools for killers to play in soon enough.
You'd think after shrinking map sizes, handing out aura reads for everything, causing survivors to spawn clumped together in a predictable spot, increasing visibility, and eliminating stealth as a play style they might need to give survivors something to compensate and keep kill rates from going crazy but apparently killer players don't like to acknowledge all the other handouts they've gotten.

Killers are quite a bit stronger than they used to be. I don't see the issue. Gotta get them pallets to keep up with the times. Why cry about it if you're in the highest MMR playing the best players. Did you guys think I'd be easy?

"The Game" never got an increase in pallet density. It has always been like this, to offset the fact that there are so few windows.

I do think this is a good point. In the long run, BHVR needs to keep things relatively balanced. It's something people probably should think about when asking for changes (example: would killers trade survivors starting off clumped together in return for more pallets on some maps).

(-,they said as another large survivor buff was being tested in the PTB.)

But hey, there's a stat page that gives survivors fake numbers to make them feel better about losing so that's good!

Don't lots of the killers just disregard pallets, insta break them, vault over them or use their power over them? It might feel like a pain if you're a trapper for example, but if you're a Wraith or that silly head thing, pallets aren't that big of a deal. There needs to be a middle ground or all killers need to deal with pallets the same way. Behaviour caused this issue.

It didn't change density, but I noticed changes in spawn logic. For example in one room on ground floor two god pallets can be spawned at the same time. And the logic of spawn was changed on every map. Much more safer tiles now on indoors can be suddenly spawned.
Another proof — Salloon. They didn't say it was affected, yet there are new tiles as well, they just works as replacement of old one

WAIT!
There's people advocating IN FAVOR of this pallet increase crap?!
DAMN! Surv is becoming more braindead with each patch. This increased pallet "QoL" made noobs being able to not care about resource management. They just need to keep dropping pallet, after pallet, after pallet and they are good.
I'm going away from they surv role more and more because I'm getting bored on how easy it's becoming.
And the poor killer bastards B tier and below… GhostFace is so bad that here in my country we started calling him GhostFácil (fácil being our word for easy).3 -

A few killers can “disregard” pallets, but most cannot
