Just letting you know that bhvr nerfed krasue by removing infection on unhook, yet gigachad wesker gets to keep his lovely infections on hook, tunneling survivors out the game with the sweet hindered -4% movement + instant grab afterwards.

Wesker is fine. He’s almost universally regarded as one of the most balanced and well-designed killers in the game. He’s like literally the last killer we should be complaining about.

Weskers infection has to recharge back to full before you get the hinder and he has to aim his power to get you.
Krause can just slap you with a M1 hit with her head form which has way more mobility than Wesker does.
Can't even compare the 2. May as well complain about Nemesis or Plagues infections as well while you're at it.

There is a reason they made the Infection reduce to 1% instead of 50% straight off of an unhook.
You have over two minutes before you hit maximum infection from 1%, it really isn't an issue.

It takes 100 Charges to hit full infection, Wesker's Infection progresses at 0.8 charges/second.
100 / 0.8 = 125 seconds.

Remember when his infection used to have a stronger Hinder at 8 percent? Am I the only person who saw both the nerf to the infection reduced on hook and the hinder nerf overkill? By that I mean the hinder shouldn't have been changed, the infection is supposed to be threatening

Please check a random wesker video up on youtube and skip to a part where the survivor gets fully infected after getting unhooked. Dont worry, you dont have to do any math, it doesnt take 2min, i promise you

it already is threatening. a 4% hinder is still noticeable from the survivor pov. you can’t leave loops and chain into the next one as easily and if you get caught in a area where there aren’t really strong pallets or windows, you’re basically dead. the 8% hinder was overkill because you couldn’t even attempt to loop wesker atp. you were so slow that any “distance” you made was instantly lost because of his dash combined with your hinder.

Nemesis and plague dont have the mobility wesker has. Funny thing is that by the time the survivor is fully infected after the unhook, DS runs out anyway. Win win situation for wesker.

As a survivor player I just disagree lol, we can just remove it with a FAS easily and should be punished if we just leave it there tbf.

Wesker is fine. With the exception of some issues when he slams into windows and doesn't get a hit or a vault, he's probably the gold standard for a balanced and fair killer. His power is much harder to land than Krasue just hitting you in head form. The first aid sprays also act way faster than the mushrooms—and the chests aren't as in the open as the mushrooms—so it's easier to get rid of ouroboros. I'll go against a Wesker over a Krasue any day.

Okay? I have more hours with him by far but only a 60% KR. That's lower than almost all the other killlers I've put time into, who generally range from high 60s to low 80s. I play him because he's fun and he's a character I like, but he's actually bringing my numbers down. He's not a super easy OP killer.

im not saying wesker is really strong, but he has good tunnel potential cause of his infection. Wouldnt it be better if they also toned it down and buffed him in other ways? Never did i ever mention in my posts that hes OP, im strictly talking about tunneling

And thats some king of issue? If you last one minute after unhook when he is going after you then you are doing great, killer is supposed to get you through the match so like running him one minute is huge deal for the killer and he will mostly drop the chase plus his infection doesnt do anything only when you are fully infected but krasue has way stronger 1v1 in head form and has great mobility something wesker can dream of (better catch up and mobility than 2v8 wesker with 3 dashes).

Potential or actuality? Because I almost never go against hard tunneling Weskers. What's the scenario? If he tunnels you while you're still injured, the grab isn't much different than an M1. If you've had time to heal, it's probably not true tunneling, unless you were instahealed right off hook with healing perks, and the infection still has to build up again. If you use a spray while still injured off hook and broadcast your location, that's just a dumb move.
I just don't see much of an issue with the infection reseting. It's more of a slowdown to send you off on a secondary task than anything else, and a pretty mild one compared to other killers' slowdowns, like Pig's RBTs or Plague's perma-injured infection.
I honestly don't care if they got rid of the post-unhook infection though. Like I said, it's a pretty mild effect. I'd gladly trade it for his third dash from 2v8 since I'd rather him be a genuine high mobility killer (if for no other reason than lore accurarcy).

Surely this is ragebait, because wesker has been fine for ages. Did you literally have one bad match vs wesker and go on the forums lmao. Or are you mad about Krasue being nerfed I can't tell.

Nope, it's definitely 0.8 charges/second out of 100 charges. Do the math, that's two minutes

Not only that krasue has one of best mobilities on command she is like spirit but then cant instantly attack from head form still the cooldown after she uses he flight is quite short compare to killer like vecna and she has basicaly demos shread range attack which doesnt break pallets but she can curve with it around loops and her only weakness from tunneling before her unhook infection changes were bodyblocks from uninfected survivors and she could still deal with them.

Not only that but his last change was just making his dashes cooldown from 6 second each (12 seconds for both) to 5,5 seconds so one buff but before this his infection got nerfed hard from unhook infected survivor started like with 20-25% of infection meter and that was changed to 1% and then after the whole two minutes of infection reaching its full effect his hinder got cut from 8% to 4% which isnt so logical because this part wasnt his issue, hinder part was only problematic when he tunneled right from the hook but now this isnt effecting this because you would have to be in chase near two minutes to reach full infection and by that time wesker woulf already got you even with ds so I see it as random bhvr nerf.
