2v8 Survey: Survivor Sided Again
There’s only questions about what survivors find fun/interesting/frustrating to play against and nothing for killers.
Where’s the section asking killers what classes they like/don’t like to play against??

If they needed to attract players to the killer role, they would ask that.

if they want more people to play to survivor they have 2v8 out more than 3 times a year and actually add new classes to survivor.
Not remove a killer to please people who are gonna dc and still continue to complain anyway.
I guarantee if they had stats to back it up, we’d see them removing legion did nothing to bring more players in on the survivor side.
If BHVR wants more survivors on 2v8 they need more classes, and better incentives to play, more killers and maps would help retention on both sides too. They shouldn’t be releasing surveys fishing for what killer to remove next.

What surprised me is that there was no question about what killer they should consider adding next. Its the thing everyone comes to expect with every new 2v8, yet they didn't bother asking it in the survey. Almost like they're holding out to adding new killers on purpose.

- I think the biggest problem with 2V8 is the overwhelming need for survivor players. Let's be clear: the most fun/innovative thing about this mode is the killer role. Survivor role is basically the same as always, just with more players and (generally) a simplification of the gameplay. Just look at the history of this mode: what has significantly changed in the survivor role? As far as I can remember, nothing. Some class balancing/buff/nerf, herbs in the RE chapter, and fog crystals... very little compared to the constant introduction of new killers in this mode. If we all want this mode to thrive and even become permanent, something needs to change in the survivor role (in my opinion). Certainly, introducing new killers (which I think will happen regardless) won't change the situation at all. To clarify, by survivor role change, I don't mean a buff, but something really fun and interactive that's worth playing.

I haven't enjoyed playing killer at all in this 2v8 so i found this survey really bad. No questions for killers why they might find parts of the mode bad, just for survivors.
I personally havent been bothered about the killer queues, after adding the possibility to play as a survivor while queueing as a killer, but whats bothering me is the unbalance in this mode. I don't have fun anymore. Not as a survivor or as a killer. As a survivor i escape most of my matches and as a killer i feel horrible playing against fast gens and button pressed sprint burst.

This right here. I don't like playing killer anymore, either, because the gens go too fast without any killer perks to slow them down.
They need to probably slow gen speeds more aggressively when the killers have few hooks.

No more us vs them please. Consider this, BHVR trying to improve the survivor experience works to lower killer queue times, which is their biggest complaint easily.

In fairness, I don't think any survivor buff or killer nerf could impact killer queue times. 2v8 offers something for killers that they can't get anywhere else in the game, whilst for survivors it's just an easy win simulator without much in the way of different gameplay.

welp atleast I’ll be able to play 2v8 as killer faster

It's pretty bad indeed. I'm also considering stop playing 2v8 before the mode ends.
Survs are abusing/bypassing the comeback mechanic by 99% gens and popping 2 to 4 at once to avoid the speed reduction.
And it doesn't help that the 8 70 charge gens from 2v8 are basically the same as 6 1v4 gens.
Matches fly, survs t=bag you and say ez at the Endgame chat like if they needed any skill to escape in this mode.-2 -
Survivor queues are instant while Killer Queue are 30mins long it has to be a survivor sided mode

Objectively Legion probably was removed cause he was the only killer in the 2vs8 lineup that had a build in slowdown and almost map wide detection.
Also he was way too present especially in the last 2vs8 iteration. Probably around 80% of my matches had a legion and from what ive seen on this forum many other players had a similar experience. If that's true I can see why BHV felt the need to so something about legion.
He was super fun and satisfying to play though. Just zooming around the map chaining hits.

I would guess that Dracula and PH were the easiest to add from the remaining popular picks. They both mostly have unproblematic chase powers. The remaining killers would probably require some sort of rework to their power or are to unpopular to add

Dracula is fun and good pick but pyramidhead sucks same way as slinger does he got small buffs and sith how strong the loops are in 2v8 and close to each other its just doge into hold W till he gets you or drops chase but this still means killers will loose if his teammate isnt carrying the match.

The Dracula and Pyramid additions to 2v8 are more of a sponsored addition rather than Behavior picking killers people would want. While I believe every killer needs time to be looked at and implement, there are still ones which would be very easy to add still, from the original ones or licenses like Chucky.
Still though, not even asking about what people would want to see in 2v8 only leads me to speculate they're doing it on purpose, having already planned on only adding a few killers every now or then for some… reason.0 -
I'm saying that I don't think that will ever be the case. Again, 2v8 gives killers something they can't get anywhere else in the game. It doesn't do that for survivors.
This is going to be an extreme exaggeration but I genuinely think killer queue times would still be long even if survivors had a 100% escape rate in 2v8.

Not sure if chucky is that easy to add tbf. He has a balancing issue since he's super slow but might be too oppressive if he's buffed to 4.6ms for 2vs8.
Also his size might be problematic as well. As Dracula in wolf form ur nearly invisible on dead dawg for example. Chucky would be the same

Slinger is arguably worse than Chucky and they both share 4.4m/s despite the map being much larger. I don't think any killer would be as strong as people say if they were 4.6m/s, they would just be able to play better on tiles where they can't normally use their power.
Besides, I don't think a 4.6m/s Chucky would be better than Dracula who is 4.6m/s on Wolf Form and also gets a speed boost every 6 seconds (that can be combined with Enforcer for an even higher boost).
Edit: The only reason Wolf Form isn't any stronger in 2v8 than it is currently its because its bugged.0
