Original Pain Addon Needs A Different Effect: It Now Does the EXACT Same Thing As Greasy Black Lens
It was announced on the Community Stream today that Original Pain is going to live as it was on PTB.
It now does the EXACT same thing as Greasy Black Lens, but better.
One of these addons NEEDS a new effect entirely.
The version going to live will see Original Pain duplicating the effect of Greasy Black Lens, which is the SAME rarity, except now it does the effect several seconds longer and in an instance where it actually matters.
Greasy Black lens has been made a redundant addon, and either it or Original Pain NEEDS to change.

I think instead of inflicting deep wound, it should inflict mangled and hemorrhage instead which would keep with the theme of pain and fix the redundancy issue with Greasy Black Lens, because yeah those are way too similar now

The Greasy Black Lens addon is still slightly better because it shows you the aura of a survivor when you hit them with a chain and not when they break free.
Here are some ideas for a rework idea:
- when you damage a chained survivor, every other survivor within 24 meters will scream.
- When a survivor solves the box, you see the aura of every survivor for three seconds.
- Whenever the chain hunt builds up, you see the progress of every Generator based on their color density.
- Solving the box as a killer no longer triggers a chain hunt but every vault location and upside right pallet get blocked for the next 30 seconds.

I disagree with Greasy Back Lens being better, because honestly I don't really care where a Survivor is when I hit them? Unless I am incredibly forgetful, I should already know exactly where they are: I had a 1st person POV of where they were when I hit them with my chain. Also, there are a ton of chains that spawn that lead me directly to where the Survivor.
The new Original Pain triggers when you would actually need it: After they break the chains and you don't immediately know where they are, and it lasts for longer than Original Pain would.

Original Pain is definitely better overall imo. You could still justify Greasy Black Lens with Engineer's Fang specifically though (since that would not activate Original Pain).
But either way I agree one of them should do something else

+1. good that you changed Original Pain. but it's too redundant with Greasy Lens now.
Take this ability and give it to Greasy Lens.
Make OP inflict Mangled and hemorrhage on break, as @sizzlingmario4 suggested.
