@ThatRyanB do we get another hotfix/patch after the second hotfix next week or is the next update the big bug fix update in november?

especially in solo que. as no survivor wants to be found anymore. they wont go to gates, do gens, or heal others because hatch is the only hope. slugging doesnt 100% stop that either, just a 95% chance to be abandoned alone with bot survivors.

Dunno folks I think that since 6 updates ago they've just been focused on making as much moolah as possible.
They say they'll fix the game but then killers feel unstoppable for 2 weeks, and it flip flops. They can't balance for anything, I mean let's take Azarhovs resting for example. They put a map in the game where you have to be a toxic little turd to get any traction. If it takes a killer 60 full seconds to cross, and it does I timed it.
How is any non super-mobile killer meant to keep up? They release an update to 'stop slugging' but then encourage it with poor map design and routinely forgetting the basic mechanics of their own game.
This 'Operation Health' is a hoax and they're just trying to stop the bleeding so people can give them more hard earned money for doing the bare minimum at BHVR HQ as is normal.1 -

Two months later, the game still feels absolutely miserable to play. When are we gonna get some transparency? Because right now, it feels like you're lying to us to get us off your back. What EXACTLY are you doing RIGHT NOW to fix the game?

I just got tunneled hard out of a match; the clown only went after me until i was dead. They are literally going to lose the match now. What was the point?

Pallet density increase is making life hell for M1 killers. Maybe have some mechanic built into certain killer kits that make pallets more a stop-gap in a chase than anything...would love to see a 'get p stunned twice and killer gets instant bloodlust' or something...after all, getting p stunned is really gonna p off someone like Myers or Trapper. Other fun versions would be with Chuckys ghost holding the pallet up Vecna style if they go for stun no. 3 and keep that irritating pallet/blind combo going

It’s gotten so bad that I stopped playing. Thank god Ninja Gaiden 4 just came out. Now that’s a well-developed game. Extremely recommend! You should go play that instead ;)

Killers do tunnel. no doubt. but before you go abusing a killer for tunneling, how much attention where you paying to other peoples hook status.
I come acroiss many games where survivors dont seem to even notice they have a team mate on the hook. I see survivors going into the void, coming out of the void and starting a fresh generator all while a team mate is on the Hook. Sometimes, that survivor was hooked by me on their very first hook, and there they stay through all stages until sacrificed :/I also get accused from time to time of tunneling even though I didn't. I don't want to tunnel and I don't need to tunnel. I'm quite an experienced Killer Main (Huntress) 3300 hours. I certainly don't need or want to tunnel and yet I get accused of it every now and then.
This suggests that some survivors failed to notice the fact there was another survivor hooked in between their last hook. I admit, I can come back to you after hooking a differnt survivor awfully fast, but none the less it's not tunneling.
One other scenario where I suppose I do tunnel is where a survivor may have been the last one off of the hook, but I go to patrol a generator and the survivor does not run, they just continue working on the gernator as if now they have FULL IMMUNITY!!!! simply because they were the last one hooked. Under those circumstances I get annoyed and hook you anyway, because even though you are ignoring the killer, I will not ignore a survivor who is blatantly flouting any kind of ethical killing attitude (jesus that sounds like an oxymoron) I might be inclined to try to follow.
Another circumstance where I might tunnel you is if you were the last survivor to come off of a hook, but to save your team mate from being the next, you flash light stun me. I drop the survivor I was holding and come after you and successful down and hook you. im sorry but too bad. You do not have blanket immunity from the killer simply because you came last off of a hook. this is a ridiculous abuse of these un-written rules.
To try to make actualy hard limits by way of the developers implementing punishment's for the killer if they do tunnel under these kinds of circumstances will ultimately destroy the game.
We have to be careful not to give survivors immunity from being hooked simply because, and for no other reason that the fact they were the last person to be hooked. there has to be some caveats.
I am all for some implantation of measures to slow blatant and reckless Tunneling, camping and Multi-slugging & Long time Slugging.
But even with slugging, too many surviors cause their own slug fest and even though the killer picks them all up, then blame the killer for slugging. this is ridiculous logic if looked at reasonably. case and point: where groups of survivors seemingly crowd the kiler and stay near the killer as he/she downs the surviors. The survivors should be running/hiding, not acting like they have some kind of invisible forcefield around them in the form of an un-written "Thou shall not slug" rule set.
All's I am saying is can we all be reasonable when thinking about what is or is not appropriate in game, or are we all just trying to get things bent to our satisfaction for winning? Because if that's your goal you are going to destroy the game and then get bored with it.-1 -

A scenario that happens quite often, and did to me last night playing as the killer…
Chase a survivor, get the down. Waiting around some object is another survivor or more with flashlights. Pick up the downed one, the others got the flash save. Get another down, fake the pickup because you know they'll attempt it again and chase off the flashlight saver. Go back for the downed one, they've crawled away and killer can't find them. Get accused of slugging after the game. This exactly happened to me last night and I know it's happens a lot more.
Point is, slugging and tunneling isn't a black and white problem. It's situational, and can't have a heavy handed killer-punishing "fix".

Looking forward too seeing how the slugging and tunnelling update shakes things up! As a dedicated killer main I'm glad to see spreading hooks is actually being rewarded instead of punished.

we are still getting the huge amounts of bug fixes for this november mid-chapter like you promised right? right?? (please, there are so many bugs that need fixing, THIS is the time to do it. if not now, when will you ever get the chance and trust from the community to be given that extra time again?)

Honestly, I lost all faith in the dev team. The game is dying and my friends and I are looking for a better game to play together. We pop in from time to time but quickly switch after a game or two.

this is the only community to actively sabotage themselves by bringing harm or neglect the most weakest aspect or side of this game, either soloq or weak killers.
defending killers like ghoul to oblivion, even if its exploits or bugs.
kill off items that actually harm high tiers like singu and spirit actively.
deflect any qol soloq gets, even if its as small or pointless like hud update and,
while advocating for more buffs to the stronger side…for some reason.1 -
Always blame the parents. Never the children. If this type of behavior is supported by….BHVR…then that's on them. It's a common law of life that most people don't know what they want. It's just sad that the games own creators feel the need to give in to community whining about such trivial things. Lots of wasted development time that could've went toward many more important matters is all we truly got out of these last few months.

I honestly lost faith in the dev team. They went back on changes with camping, tunneling, or slugging. Killers that QQ are just bad and destructive killers. The MMR might be a good thing to help, but when I can play killer who isn't leveled at all and use 1 or no perks and still down everyone, perks just make it easier. The point is, just because you can do it doesn't mean people should. It ruins the game's "fun" factor. Love the game, but I think I am done. Best of luck, you will need it.

We'll probably end up getting more busted ass killers on release before any actual QoL updates go live at this point. Players have patience, but it should not be taken for granted.

Are we going to be seeing a post mortem at some point of all the things that were promised and then not delivered on? Killers who have been critically bugged for months to years are still critically bugged. Game bugs are as bad as when we started. Game balance is worse than when we started, both for the gap between solo and SWF and M1 killers vs Blight/Nurse/Ghoul/etc. Cheaters are still running rampant. The only 'improvement' to the survivor gameplay experience is being able to quit faster instead of being griefed to shuffle them back into the queue, so as everything gets worse, disconnects are also rising, forcing the penalties to be removed so that they're able to actually stay in the queue.
The "Quality of Life Initiative" has been an unmitigated disaster in every single way, with barely any promises fulfilled to EITHER side.

It feels like BHVR have totally ruined the game, for me at least. The changes were literally not bad, the elusive status made very little difference honestly. The camping changes were the big change and to even slightly revert on that is a total slap in the face on both sides. Encouraging actual gameplay was important and that has now been made lesser with this being reverted.
Even the increase in pallet density was such a great move and then it was taken away. Wild move. On both sides of gameplay, I loved having a 50/50.
I am sorry but this whole situation is a fricking awful and I've think it's really showing how short sighted the Dev's are.The changes to specific killers should be high on the list, for example, allowing Ghoul to go with such little change for so long is totally unacceptable.
I feel this is no longer a fun game sadly.

and we see when we do reward killers for "playing the game" how well that turned out, especially this update for like the 10th time, that no, "buffing killers will solve the game" it does not.
they WILL slug, they WILL tunnel and they WILL camp unless punished or making it nearly impossible to do so.9 -

they can certianly try to evolve in a much better and fun stratergy other than the same 3 boring ones we already had for years.
the game will not die if the killer cant tunnel and slug anymore (unlike what some old ex dbd dev said)
the game WILL die if soloq survivors are punished more and more for no good reason.
why would any casual let alone any new commer who sees how punishing it is compared to killer,
think if they should invite their friends and not do it because of how awful the beginner experince has been FOR YEARS.
