Stop caving to the loud minority of killer mains/content creators

Despite what killer main content creators will tell you, the anti tunneling and anti slugging we’re fine. In fact they we’re DESPERATELY NEEDED to sustain the game’s health.

I’m so tired of BHVR caving to these people. These people do NOT make up the majority of your playerbase. The majority of your playerbase are solo queue survivors who get breadcrumbs compared to what killer mains get patch after patch.

Survivors are sick of it. You think DCing and go next has been bad? You think killer queue times are bad? Prepare for it to get EVEN WORSE. And of course these content creators will make videos talking about how survivor player mentality is this huge issue, when in reality THEY caused this. When you beg and plead for BHVR to make the game easy for you don’t be surprised when survivors don’t want to play anymore.

    Hey another Us vs them~

Not only Killer "mains" spoke themself out against this but survivor mains aswell.

The first atempt was much better only needed some tweaking at the hook numbers.

By the way since we go back to ground 0 nothing has changed at all. Survivor didn´t get harder at all its just as bad as it has been before~

”Just as bad as before” is still bad. You’re also ignoring the fact that devs want to make maps weaker for survivors again based on… wait for it… content creators outcry!

Dead by Daylight is extremely snowbally and while the changes addressed how killers could snowball a game it did nothing to address how survivors can snowball the game.

What maps they added pallets where they shouldnt and they werent even needed there like asylum maps or gas heaven so now instead keeping this huge nerf to m1 killers they will kepp all the pallets just make them bit weaker so they arent so many god pallets or chans of loops that are brain dead to loop as survivor because every way leads to window or pallet but hard to explain someone who is just pure us vs them and doesnt even play killers like merchant or ghostface against good survivors that are capable to be coordinated even when they are soloq.

It'll be ok. They'll add play while you wait in 1v4 to help killers enjoy the game.

What are you talking about? I never have to wait for killer when I play during the evenings (which is when I play most frequently). There are more than enough survivor players. This is simply the same doomposting we always hear when survivor-only players are upset about not getting unnecessary, abusable and balance-damaging buffs for their side.

    Exactly.
Surv mains who don't want a braindead gameplay were completely against it.
The only people who are defending these anti tunnel and slug were good are the crybabies that refuse to play the game and just want to hit their heads on the keyboard until they escape.

    Really?!
That's such GOOD NEWS! The crybabies are unsintalling! o/
I don't mind waiting 5 min to play killer if I'll be playing matches were no surv will DC after the first chase and ruin the experience for the four remaining players.

    See?

Instead of asking Devs to buff SoloQ to SWF level, you're asking global buffs to survivors, and justify it by saying you're SoloQ.

All these anti-everything stuff doesn't really help SoloQ, but massively buffs SWF and decent players, and kill every single non-S/A tier killers.

    Admit, you're just bias.

Ok - not sure where you’re getting your official uninstall count stats from, but whatever

I keep seeing these posts, yet the few content creators I watch that play both sides had similar views on the changes, and none of them I saw wanted it fully scrapped (or at least the ones I saw) just adjusted.

I think the tribalism is insane in this game. Only a few days ago it was doomposting about the changes, now it's doomposting about not going through with all of them. Can't even make a point without people assuming you're a killer/survivor main.

Content creators who've played both sides for over 1,000 hours are far more credible than people who just scream nonsense on forums after playing Survivor for a few hundred hours.

Despite disagreeing with some of them on certain things, most of the top creators are pretty accurate in understanding the game. They were right in the critiques of the changes. Tunneling/camping while sometimes annoying isn’t that big of an issue in the game. It’s generally just a skill issue. That’s a hard pill for people to swallow. A lot of the time it does work successfully I could’ve played better to change the outcome. It also happens way, way less than people act like. I typically find that people who think it’s extremely common have a very loose definition of tunneling that isn’t really tunneling. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t personally tunnel on killer as I think it’s removing skill from the match and I’d like if it didn’t exist, but people are ridiculously exaggerating how much of an issue it is, and I primarily play solo queue at that. I even looked at my dbd stats page and I’m roughly 50/50 on each side, with a slight more on survivor.

Dont know about you but I've been monitoring queue times in my region and they've shown to be borderline instant whenever there's not 2v8 going on. That indicated more KILLER players not playing killer by either leaving or going to play survivor. And even then its not even a one sided BP bonus it usually STAYED on killer. When some survivors stop DC'ing over the PETTIEST of reasons then we can make accurate changes.

They signed up for a PVP game and don't like it when they verse certain killers… then pvp might not be for them. Because I will say if I do ever get back into dbd again it will 100% be on survivor because it's way less stressful and way easier because I can have X amount of perks that bail me out compared to me being forced to play a higher tier with good perks just to compete.

    Question...

If 20% of the playerbase is killer, and the reasoning for the changes not to come in didn't meet the quality gate that BHVR set, which I would assume would need to be at very least majority vote...

Doesn't it stand to reason that... just maybe... not all Survivors agreed with the changes either?

I hope you realise that they probably decided to revert the changes because the majority of the feedback they got was negative?
