I want to thank the devs for their community feedback and the recent stream. I just have one request for the patch to be perfect: please don't change this addon.

I read feedback about PTB that said Styptic would be worse than the green addon or something like that. Please, developers, don't change something that hasn't received any complaints and doesn't need changing.

Styptic needed change, but new effect is just too weak/undertuned.

I don't see why it needed that, you can wait it out, play around it. And the current live servers styptic can help against tunneling. Very undeserved change imo, since the anti-tunneling got (currently) scrapped.

If you can wait it out as killer, then survivor just used it poorly. If survivor is not stupid, it's just guaranteed 20 meters of distance that you can run to safety with no risk and no counterplay on killer side. You see that there is not enough distance to window/pallet? M2+space, there you go, now it's free.
But yeah, most players use it very bad tbf, just pop it somewhere in open field for no reason. Just another example of average players turns things without counterplay into absolutely useless by his cluelessness.-1 -
The item simply disappears after using Styptic. You just want to nerf survival for no reason, even though this isn't even unbalanced.

You can't have invincibility in a bottle. Players riding endurance features to the finish line is game-breaking.

I can't stand that addon. Good riddance. Half-way decent survivors always know how to force value out of it.

Its absurd, they are nerfing a top tier ad on (in color not power) to be worse then some brown and yellows. can use a yellow and brown ad on and get same effect as a purple.

even when you compare to purple flashlight ad ons purple is still gaining more then running a brown and yellow0 -
It does need to be changed, however the PTB effect was terrible because 15% efficiency is worth less than the addons that add extra charges (even the weakest ones).
My proposal was flip the effect to healing other survivors (instead of it being on self heals) and increase the bonus to 60% efficiency so it'd actually be relevant

This reminds me of Happy and Blizzard, you can't balance the game based on one good player lol
