Feature Request: Set Killer Preferences\Exclusions
It would be nice to exclude certain killers when matchmaking. If you happen to matched with that killer, you're kept in the queue instead until another match occurs.
With such a wide variety of killers and required counter play, I find there's some killers I just don't like and some I see too rarely to get any practice against.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way, and can't help but feel it likely contributes to DC's and 'go next' style play too.
I can see it's been suggested before. Didn't read the novel of a thread, but others summarised the downside as making unpopular killers unplayable due to the long queue time caused by players excluding them. If enough players blocked a killer for it to become a big problem, maybe BHVR should make funner killers?

You literally stated the reason why this should never be in the game and it would not remove the problem of this by "maybe BHVR should make funner killers"

Yeah, my bad. Should have thought that through properly.

You assume people will ban a killer because they are unfun, not that the Survivor is bad against them.

Absolutely not, wayyyyyyy too open to abuse.
All survs would have to do is ban the strongest and/or "annoying" killers and queue times will soar for everyone. Imagine those in a SWF each banning four different killers? Again, queue times get wrecked.

Why should people be unable to play the killers they paid for simply because some players get butthurt?

Noted.

True… There's some killers I love playing against win or lose, but then everyone is different. As others have noted, some will just block the top killers. Nurse, Blight etc.

Good point, but BHVR drastically changes killers occasionally. Drastic re-works, or nerfing some into oblivion so you can rarely win, for example. With this game, just because you bought something, doesn't mean what you bought will stay the same or even similar. BHVR can come along and break it whenever they want.
Though, that sentiment also applies to what I'm asking really doesn't it?
'Don't like how we changed the character\game\map? Too bad.'
