The real issue is bully squads, not toxic killers
Hey BHVR, so when you made this game, was intended to be skill based? Ya know, like it's supposed to be?
So if the game is skill based, tell me why you constantly nerf killers into the ground because of the "Boohoo, poor me. I didn't get to bully the killer with my 200 stun/blind perks. WAAAAAA" baby survivors?
You showed off the PTB and all it's saying is "We think this is the problem so here, LETS MAKE ALL THE OP PERKS BASE KIT"
At the end of the day BHVR, killer can influence the pacing of a match with toxic gameplay but it's survivor that really creates problems. Changing the game so that survivor basically wins for free, no skill, no effort, no actual knowledge of how to play is not fixing the problem.
If your going to allow bully squads to exist in matches, then killers need their own form of buff that allows them to easily deal with bully squads. I should be able to play the game I've spent A LOT of money on and ACTUALLY HAVE FUN WHILE PLAYING IT but no. I can't play killer because of bully squads and I can't play survivor because of toxic killers.
Maybe if you dealt with bully squads, killers wouldn't need to resort to camping, slugging and tunnelling just to get kills. Instead, they have to sweat their asses off, chasing survivors that fly across the map because it's ok for survivors to have lithe, windows, finesse, SB, DH, Blast mine, Head on etc. Yet it's wrong for killer to use their powers or skills to get a good 4K.
Did you not learn your lesson years ago when one of your devs got totally bullied while playing Hagatha and they couldn't do anything about it? It wasn't the insta blind flashlights that were the problem IT WAS BULLY SQUADS. YOU'VE KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS AND DONT DO SHEE TO DEAL WITH IT. YA JUST BLAME KILLER BECAUSE ITS EASIER
Oh but it's ok that killer actually has to understand how to play the game, use their powers effectively, mind game, have good target priority, yet survivor could have 2 braincells and somehow STILL GET OUT THE MATCH.
Take a long hard look at the real problem BHVR, YOUVE MADE SURVIVOR TOO EASY TO PLAY. There are 4 PEOPLE in that match against 1 KILLER and yet it's always killer that takes ALL THE HITS.
Oh but it's ok, you'll also then randomly release killers that are busted OP and that's OK. That's OK because then you can nerf them into the ground, make them unplayable or extremely weak and give the survivors ANOTHER EASY KILLER TO DEAL WITH
The game is very much not friendly to new players but when you allow bully squads to exist. EVEN PLAYERS THAT ARENT NEW AND ARE TRYING A NEW KILLER THEY HAVE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE SUFFER BECAUSE OF YOUR BLINDNESS
Just as a side note. Take away lithe, windows, finesse, SB and what are you left with? A bunch of survivors with no clue how to loop killer, get scared at the first heartbeat and ultimately can't do anything because they don't have their perks that carry them through the entire match.
If BHVR ever removed the current meta perks, survivor would be SCREWED. Meta mechanics in a game aren't supposed to make you win with no skill, they are supposed to be an effective way to play when paired with the knowledge of how to play the game. Remove the top 5 meta perks and the majority of survivor players would lose 90% more of their matches simply because they never had to ACTUALLY LEARN THE GAME

Us vs them, the dead horse of all time.
Toxicity on both sides plagues this game - and plenty of this game's players have spent years fostering feelings of tribalism that only get in the way of making the game better.
Anyway, if survivor is so easy its free - swap to survivor. Drive the kill rates as low as you can and the player count disparity as high as you can and BHVR will see the need to step in. Plus, you can get some better perspective on what about Survivor needs to change that way.

All that to be told that Killers average a 60% KR.
If the game feels rigged against you constantly, it might just be you, at least on the Killer side. The game is literally designed to favor you getting a positive outcome.

I'll just parrot what people tell survivors when they complain about tunneling and slugging:
- Adapt
- Bring perks
- Sounds like a skill issue

I see you are also getting fed bully squad after bully squad tonight. Let them enjoy the over saturation of pallets while they can. Honestly, I felt for survivors getting screwed by the incompetence of the dev team scrapping all the changes. I thought maybe the basekit unbreakable could’ve worked, then 4 flashlights hovering for saves, jumping in lockers for flash bang saves, hovering under pallets all night reminded me why we can’t have nice things.

Always with the switch solution. Every competitive game always ends with "Well if you don't like it, switch". Why should players have to switch TO HAVE FUN. I enjoy KILLER, why should I have to move over to survivor and deal with the toxic killers from bully squad matches instead of playing what I WANT TO PLAY in the game I SPENT MY OWN MONEY ON.
Like with my point on No Mither. Why should anyone have to switch the way THEY WANT TO PLAY just because the game has issues that no one wants to actually acknowledge

Exactly my point.
Exactly my point. They can't implement anti-tunnel/camp/slug mechanics until they deal with toxic bully squads. Otherwise, killer will become unplayable when going against a bully squad.

I wonder if the game can actually be balance by removing full group swf and only allowing duos. Unless custom match for tournament purposes

If you're not even going to bother to read why I said you should switch, don't bother writing out a whole response.
BHVR are ultimately informed by statistics and you are ultimately informed by experience. As a result, continuing to contribute to survivor play rates, continuing to drop kill rates, and continuing to learn what you think specifically needs to be changed to lessen the survivor experience makes discussions on this easier to use from BHVR's end because the changes are directed and to-the-point, and makes BHVR more willing to actually enact changes because the stats match the statements.
If you wanna keep playing killer, do what you want - I aint a cop. But at least read what I have to say before you write it off.

BHVR has been shown the statistics on the most meta perks in this game and has done nothing about it.
Meta perks on their own are fine and dandy however, every match is the same perks everytime and the survivor using them is completely hopeless once the effects of those perks have worn off.
Trying to fill the statistic of "Less survivors dying, killers aren't strong enough" is nice and all except that you don't even need to understand how to play survivor to survive.
I could run finesse, lithe, windows and resilience and be able to loop a killer with ease simply because those perks give me certain boosts that are so much harder to punish.
If BHVR were to briefly remove say the top 5-7 meta perks, all survivor escapes would drop DRASTICALLY because no one using these perks even know how to play the game.
When your playing killer, yeah you can just be an M1 killer main and never use the power, but it only gets you so far. You actually have to understand how to play killer mechanically in order to get a 4K
My issue is that. The imbalance of the roles. Survivors could literally turn their brains off and win matches by doing nothing while killer actually has to lock in and focus most of the time in order to get the down. That's also ignoring all the times people bodyblock, sabo every hook, hold their flashlight out during chase etc.
Meta perks shouldn't be that powerful for either role. Perks are supposed to give you assistance in completing the objective, NOT give you an easy win because you vaulted the right window or dropped the correct pallet or even jumped into the locker early.
I personally don't run those perks because I find them boring and a bit of a waste. I want to learn the game instead of have the game do everything for me. Escapes feel more rewarding when you actually did something instead of getting everything done for you. It's why I run no mither (even if it has made me hate undetectable killers) because no mither forces me to actually BE GOOD AT THE GAME.
That's my overall issue. Regardless of what role I play, both sides have their own problems. Killer has to sweat super hard for the 4K because of OP perks while survivor can lay back with their feet up because they don't have to actually learn the game
