Requests regarding prestige display
I'd like the ability to hide my prestige. I'm a 100 prestige killer, and it's really annoying when people harass and taunt me because of my prestige.

Or just ignore them and move on. Prestige is pointless number and only indicates how much bloodpoints you used on one character. There is no "Prestige level = skill level". Also then what would be the point of the number at all if you can't even show it anywhere in the game.

this should have been a toggle option from the get-go. flat out removing prestiges from lobby was stupid. that should be up to us to decide.
prestige isn't pointless to me; it shows how much time and dedication i've put into playing the game.

You hours provide that prestige just shows how much bloodpoints you have put on one character. The amounts of free bloodpoints you get in this game just makes it quite easy to get a prestige 100 character if you so want. Does not really even take that long if you just pool the bloodpoints and play the side that gets more in events.

It's absolutely true that prestige does not equal skill level. However, there are many people who don't understand this (or who do) who use prestige as an excuse to make insults, saying things like, "You've spent so much time on this game, and you're only at that level?" Of course, there are many people who want to display prestige. Rather than hiding it completely, I'd like to be able to choose whether or not to display it.

It was much worse for survivors back when everyone including the killer could see the prestiges before the round even started making everyone in the lobby harass you ingame. Ive even seen someone facecamp and hard tunnel someone off the hook because they were p100 and say in the end game chat " omg i actually killed a p100!" As if prestige makes you invincible or perfect at the game lol. Its not so bad when all they can do it comment on your prestige after everythings done. I know what you mean tho ive got 7 p100s and i don't go all out trying to win all the time im just playing my favorite killer/survivor and then even if u just let them win cuz u arent interested in sweating against bullies they will still be like "p100 and for what?!" You don't have to worry about them. You can turn the end game chat off while playing killer to avoid anything like that or just click the leave button as soon as the round ends if u know they are going to say something.

Never have got that and I am one of those people that has all killers characters around prestige 15 and survivors around prestige 10 with some exceptions as newer ones are way lower as they are played less and I have played this game from 2016. Still not saying that can't be a thing but never experienced it. Closest was someone surprised that my Hillbilly is over 10 prestige and I did not play him that well in the match. Simply had a bad match and I am not even that good with Hillbilly anymore played him a lot long time ago and he has got two major reworks after that. I nowadays chose characters and builds by random generator as I got bored of playing with same builds every match. After that the game has been way more interesting.
For my own curiosity I counted my prestige totals for killers and survivors. Killers total prestige levels was 429. Survivors total prestige levels was 319.
