Anti-Tunneling vs. Killer

The contrast between past aggressive anti-camp mechanics—like the 2v8 mode where Killers near the hook caused the Survivor to automatically move/unhook—however, the current system is stark and no longer moves the hooked survivors away from killer threats. While the 2v8 approach guaranteed an unhook and stopped camping, it essentially removed Killer agency around objectives. Now, we rely on Endurance (base-kit Borrowed Time), which only offers a brief moment of protection. Killers still find it highly efficient to tunnel the newly unhooked Survivor, proving that the current system fails to deter the decision to tunnel, only the immediate down.

Why should you get a 100% safe unhook?

The unhooks and heals should be free. Especially for a game like this where every action feels punishing to Survivor. Sticking on a gen, not sticking on a gen, helping your team, not helping your team. IMHO put a damn bubble around the unhooker and hooked for around 30 seconds, make it visible, maybe neon lights. But Killer isn't allowed in.
