once again, devs go way too heavy handed with adjustments…
after around 30 minutes looking at other streamers play the new update (i can’t download it because i’m on xbox 😔) and from what ive seen, the devs used a sledgehammer on all the loops that got updated this patch. they aren’t even 50/50’s anymore it’s more 75/25 in the killer’s favor. this is NOT what the community was asking for. stripping every single half decent filler loop was not the way to go. i’m not even joking when i say this- EVERY FILLER PALLET IS NOW EASILY OUTPLAYABLE, EVEN WITHOUT BLOODLUST. is this what the killer mains were hoping for when they complained about pallet density? for every pallet to be edgemap pallet safety? now we are gonna have to wait for another round of pallet density changes because there’s no way in hell these changes stay for more than 1 update cycle. the kill rates will skyrocket since killers can outplay every loop with ease except select jungle gyms and shack.

It's still better than holding W and just running to every single pallet forcing M1 killers to break everything.

bait use to be believable
-5 -
before this update, m1 killers didn’t have to break every single pallet. there were a lot of mindgameable pallets and a couple of god ones where you had to break but not every single pallet was a must break. idk where everyone was getting that concept of the devs adding 30 god pallets and calling it a day.

have you seen new auto haven? they put random holes in the middle of fillers, effectively reducing their strength by 50% when they already decreased the safety of them in 9.2 with the original pallet density update.

survivor is meant to be the unsafe role, the one on the backfoot. naturally, there will be unsafe spots on maps. if you struggle to spin or avoid killers, or cant run a loop and spend pallets like the Weimar printed money, then get more practice in.

Yeah, going through customs to check out these changes, and indeed, still a decent number of fillers, they're just more spread out and weaker. I'd have to actually play survivor to see how they feel, but my initial impression is that it doesn't look too bad against a majority of the roster, but playing against Blight or Ghoul with these changes is gonna be so miserable.
I think if this is the way they want maps, then they need to address those elephants in the room.

some pallets are still in those maps, you know. people should enjoy being killed; after all, disconnect counts as a successful escape.

any pictures, videos of the new tiles?

i dont have the update downloaded since im on xbox but from streams ive been watching along with posts on twitter, a lot of filler got massively nerfed. here’s a picture i found on twitter.
once i get the update, ill go in customs to get more screenshots. if you have the update downloaded, play on the new autohaven and take a look at the new fillers on there- specifically the truck and dumpster loops.

Can you bring WOO to custom and show density + loops u claim became weaker?
Edit: No need anymore I already witnessed BHVR crime

That loop honestly doesn’t look that bad. You can run it from the generator side, and after two loops you can usually force a break or get a stun to make it over to the rock pallet. Yeah, you can get bloodlusted on it, but that’s true for a lot of pallets.
So what exactly am I missing here? Why am I getting downvoted? The generator placement actually makes it a decent loop. Sure, it’s bad against Myers, Pig, Nurse, Pinhead, and a good Wesker, but against most killers it’s pretty solid filler. It’s not low enough for ranged killers to snipe you like Huntress, Deathslinger, Xenomorph, and it’s not small enough to be mindgamed easily. So what’s the issue I’m not seeing? There are plenty of genuinely awful new fillers now in the game, but this one really isn’t that bad.
Yeah, it’s weaker compared to the super chainable fillers they added before, but why is the response just downvotes with nobody bothering to even say why they think I'm wrong? Are we really at the point where every filler needs to be a strong, chainable loop?

To be honest, after playing a few games, I dont see much of a difference to when I stopped playing and took a break (was before the pallet increase update).

is that not just a normal filler that's always existed? If I've not seen that filler, I've definitely seen that genre of filler.
-3 -
That's not what happened at all, at least on Autohaven. Fillers are less common, like the way they were a couple months ago, and they've added new filler variants. None of which are weak from what I've seen, though they're more like those fillers where one side is way shorter than the other, so you gotta play one like a 50/50, and the other is practically a structure loop like a mini L wall from Jungle Gyms worth of distance.

I watched a stream and still watching, but already seen new generations on Autoheaven.
New tiles are genuinely bad. Idk why they give something broken, only to make it 100 times more miserable later. At first they made killer feel bad, now survivors. Wow.By the way. They aren’t changed loops only. Map’s tiles are different completely. They cut some area and added more on other side.
Lighting is broken as well.4 -
so what youre saying is they should just remove all pallets and vaults, got it.
Enjoy your 10 minute queue times when all the survivors uninstall

One pallet in a 32m radius, and it's a rock filler.
8 -
You know what. I’m glad I uninstalled.
9 -
queue times are already 10+ minutes </3

Get more practice in? Yet killers can win the chase just by braindead bloodlusting around a tiny loop. How hard do you need the game to just hand you the down?
5 -
Weird flex when they can always get worse for Killer enjoy the 30mins queues

Some good mac rocks still survived at the very least. All though the shrinkage of coal tower is questionable.
-3 -
You probably didn't play the asylum map.. 4 god pallets in main building, with tons of safe pallets around the building.
-4 -
Cool wow everyone agreed ayslum didn't need more pallets and that's fine but nobody said to Nuke Yamaoka into a barren deadzone

I loaded into Disturbed Ward three times in customs, the only pallet that spawned in main each time was a single upstairs one. Maybe you got a bugged spawn. That's also ignoring that they cut the size of the fillers in half.
3 -
how bad at the game do you need to be to require every possible pallet spawn point to have a pallet?
