Did you add unsafe palettes to all the maps they told you to? I'm not playing this game anymore.
This was supposed to be an update to help the survivors, but what happened? The main killers started their reign of terror again, consequently reverting all the changes, nerfing the survivors (maps, medkits, perks), and giving the killers buffs again. Listen to your community for once, instead of the streamers who send their followers to post on your forums...

please tell me with the straightest face that this is ok and that i need to “learn to actually play.” any killer with at least 3 minutes of playtime can get a hit at this loop in less than 8 seconds.

Did you test the Macmillan, Autoheaven, Asylum, and Swamp maps? The pallets they added are a joke for the survivors. I don't think learning to play under those conditions is worth it.

i’m not defending pre 9.3 asylum. that realm was objectively busted with pallet density. i’m talking about the current gutting of fillers in 9.3. but yeah i get what you mean. the devs need to reach a middle ground between 9.2 pallet density and 9.3 pallet density

they added pallets….they didnt change the pallets that were already there. pointless pallets i agree but i dont think more pallets were needed to begin with. just means we have to be more observant instead of running for the first pallet we see knowing its probably a good one.

Yep. L update. Here we go with another month of miserable hyper tunneling. This community is so obligated to retaliate against efforts to make the game even slightly more bearable for newer players, and the devs are too [redacted] to make changes that might upset the loud minority.

I'm gonna be real. This is exactly what I expected to happen, but man, this is bad.
The double asylum pallets were horrific, but this is just as bad. There's nothing out there lol

Did they actually change anything with pallets this update? I've only played a few matches in the Gas Heaven showcase mode so far and the tiles have been pretty buns but I was just chalking that up to rng.
I thought they were waiting until next PTB to mess with pallets.

Have you been on this game in the last two hours? No? Ok so here is the issue:
You cant loop the current fillers, theyre too small now. All filler pallets are unsafe
You cant make it to the next loop, its too far away. and if you do make it, the refer to above point.But you clearly like being handed the game to you as a killer main. I hope you enjoy your 10 minute queue times when all the survivor mains uninstall.

The devs realized survivor doesn't need "help." Giving handholding mechanics to one role only, which may I remind you is the already stronger role, wasn't gonna fix the already hard to do tunneling. Most tunneling occurs cus gen speeds are crazy fast, you shouldn't expect to not be tunneled when pretty much all non A tier killers need that pressure to even have a chance at 2King. Anti Camp is fine, and with adjustments to Anti Slug activation requirements would of been fine too, so I'm a bit at a loss why these didn't go through, as they only target rare instances and specific people who enforce boring playstyles when they're not even losing. That is exactly the type of tunneling that shouldn't be possible, being tunneled when gen pressure is already poor, because that's unnecessary and is already hurting the dysfunctional team of survivors. They could also just add Voice Chat already like all other games, that would fix so much and bridge the gap between solo queue and SWFs, meaning the devs wouldn't need to macro balance around both ways of playing.

BHVR loves to operate in extremes.
First we get the extreme of fill up every dead space with pallets making it miserable to play any killer without the ability to ignore pallets.
Now we basically get a full revert except somehow worse in some aspects to before the pallet update.
A lot of this stuff really wouldn't happen if the devs were more familiar with the game they are working on.

To make the game better for newer players there needs to be a better tutorial to teach then how to properly play. Just throwing in even more pallets won't teach them anything bad players will still be bad while the good ones will have an even bigger advantage.
I'm glad for these changes forces more skill impressions from both sides and M1 killers become more viable.

I'm literally on the game right now in customs looking at all the maps that got changed and have barely came across a 100% unsafe filler loop. Most survivors don't know the good side of loops. There is clearly a bad side of a filler loop and a good side to a filler loop. Run around the good side of the loop. If you get mindgamed and out played at a filler loop then it just happens. Try again and get better.

Pretty much whole point of filer loops just one side is good and survivor should stick to it, the other is weaker and more favors killer so mind game is possibility. Other important thing is knowing when to drop the pallet some predrop when killer is behind them so smart killer will just walk around weaker side and get you so is very important to read your oponents intentions like if he will swing through or respect it etc..

to be fair i think a lot of people have taken it for granted that almost any pallet is strong or near a strong pallet. just kinda backs up my play style really, stealth. not much of an issue if you dont get chased. luckily i have had practice with this which has meant tunneling hasnt been an issue. so far the pallet changes havnt made much difference to me

This is just ridiculous. Rather than reverting the pallet density buff, they decided to create a worst-of-both-worlds compromise where there's a bunch of pallets and they're all unsafe for survivors. No fun looping gameplay, every tile is a 50/50, prerunning is the only strategy survivors can employ (which is the least fun to play against as killer).
Density needed a revert, not this. Bring us back to 6 months ago.

I don't know why this surprises anyone. BHVR takes orders from killer mains so it's only natural for a killer sided game to get another killer sided update.

We're absolutely seeing all of it and gathering the feedback. We can't respond to everything, and this is very much a "listening" stage of the process since 9.3.0 just released. It's visible and we're not ignoring it, but sometimes without something substantive to communicate, there is a period of quiet. We do hear you and we do see you.

BHVR only cares about numbers... A large chunk of people just need to quit for a while. It's unbelievable how this update only made tunneling and camping exponentially worse when it was mainly supposed to discourage it.

The queue time priority depends on pick hours. As soon as it hits evening when more people can play with friend, killer and survivor queue switching sides
