Has the update been acknowledged as disliked by BHVR?
Have they mentioned anywhere about the update and if they are going to revert the pallets back to a pre pallet update state or do anything to fix there game.
or are they just trying to make us forget with stranger things 2

On here there was a response from BHVR to a similar question, essentially stating that they are in the "listening stage" right now. I assume that means we're gonna hear about pallets and some of the more disliked changes later down the line. Although, I fear with the recent announcement of Stranger Things 2 that we are not going to hear about fixing the issues of this game until late December or whenever the PTB hits and the devs do a livestream :(

It is way too soon for them to acknowledge anything. Based on previous behaviour (funny) I'd expect 1 or 2 weeks maybe.

I don't know how they need a listening phase just go back to what we had before they tried to touch pallets this year. They are slack for not getting on top of it now, and announcing stranger things 2 a few days after they released a horrible update seems like they are wanting people to just forget.

yeah its just ironic they have a horrible update then go announce dlc that isn't coming for two months like "omg look guys but stranger things is coming back you guys are happy now right?"

It's been two days, that'd be kinda quick to hear back from pretty much any developer.
From the dev's perspective they've only barely had time to sift through the responses and evaluate them to see if they're legitimate, I wouldn't expect communication from pretty much any dev until at minimum a week has passed personally.

Two days was enough time to can the anti-camp and anti-tunnel systems on even less feedback because it was limited to PTB players.
Funny, that.

Tbf they were quick on acknowledging fog vial feedback, and those were nowhere near as inconvenient as this pallet situation seems to be

i’d the say the absolute earliest we get any acknowledgment/adjustments would be in hotfix 2 or 3.

Am I seeing a pattern here? They seem awfully quick to fix things that benefits the survivor side, but keeping the nerfs in the process. Well, aside from the Streetwise bug.

I've been playing SWF with some folks recently and the survivor main I play with hasn't really said much about pallets at all. When I've been using maps I've also not seen too little pallets.
I've always wondered: is pallet density also influenced by the players respective MMR?

Fog vials had a whopping week and half live before getting nuked into oblivion. There's no reason they can't give free-standing pallets the same fast treatment.

I don't expect it to be fixed right away but at least something like "Hey we messed up with this live release and plan on fixing it" before trying to announce the next DLC for us to buy.

See y'all in 3 months

Two days is still extremely fast even for that kind of communication, though.
Frankly if I saw a comment from the devs that fast I wouldn't trust they'd actually evaluated all the complaints themselves.

It's both sides. Please don't make this an us VS them - thing.

It was more a joke comment, and should not be taken seriously

its legitimately not bothsides in this case and it still isn’t an us vs them situation. Killers have been siding with survivors about the pallet situation. Its the playerbase vs bhvr.

the palet density update also took very long the be acknowledged and that thing was screwing up killers especially low tier ones

I just don't understand why they think salt in the wound after cancelling the Anti-Camp and tunnel was meant to achieve.

I was more talking about general balancing issues of the last ~year.
