Underrated Killers

I see a lot of posts about people complaining that they see the same killers so I ask what is a killer that you love to play that is underrated and do you have any tips for them?

For me it is Hag. She apparently had a less than 1% pick rate at one point and I really don't see why. 1. She has one of the best designs and lore to support it. In the game I get that she can be outdated but I think if you take the time to get used to her she can be very powerful. It helps that is isn't picked as much because quite a few survivors don't know how to face her. Not to mention one of the most brutal moris in the game. She is honestly in my top 3 killers and is working her way into my top 2.

Hag. Old, but a good old design.

Artist. Difficult? Yes. Fun? Yes if you know what to do.

Houndmaster. Honestly she would be great if not for all the bugs and Snug's odd antics.

    Twins.

I nain trapper and ghostface as they're fun especially ghostface on indoor maps.

With Trapper the key is don't place too many traps in obvious places.

The amount of survivors running into traps placed in random areas mid map is far greater than at obvious windows or vaults.

With ghostface use as much cover as possible to stalk but unfortunately he's very weak in open outdoor maps.

Hag isnt that fast phased killer there is lack of action compare to artis or twins (thats why I didnt see her for so long, I have met more twins and houndmasters even more artist players than hags), she is just like big fat and old orbweaver spider she just builds her web and thats it no chase ability just place traps and be fast on key for teleport but even with that good survivors that know how to counterplay her traps (for this tech they need to know where the traps is), they can counter her traps compleatly and coordinated teams mostly swf are just too fast and can pull some strategies against her. She is like all trap killers she just needs from survivors to do mistakes by steping into her traps snd punishes that problem is good teams will make your game take sges and still beat you because she is nothing without her traps not even m1 killer but 110 speed killer with nothing which isnt fun nothing action as wraith, huntress, wesker.

That's fair. I still love playing as her regardless of score. Same with Legion. I suck with him but he is so fun to play as I don't really care.

I've liked chase Legion for years. iri button is my go to and the only slowdown I use is Surge because I enjoy the idea of tapping survivors for regression. Mindbreaker and Dissolution have been staples for years. Enduring is my super secret sauce for cheesing early downs and snowballing out of control. even good survivors get baited by Enduring. the human brain lights up at the chance to knock Legion out of power. you can't resist it.

people will say you HAVE to play Legion with 3-4 slowdown and I honestly believe that's just skill issue.

Im surprised xenomorph had such a low pickrate. Hes like nemisis on steroids if the survivors never bunch the turrets together, and noone ever expects him to see you from underground. He just has a significant weakness to bully squad /swf tactics as they always bunch the turrets together but id say its more of the survivors time wasted setting up than your own if you manage to break them all and go into a tunnel to chase the next person on a gen.

Problem is now almost every survivor knows how to place turets and in comparison to nemesis its like getting zombie in doorway and having to kill him with m2 all the time, this slowdown is very noticible not to mention survivors see turrets from very far distance so they know where to run and two turrets in one chase thats like missing two hits and loosing like 12-15 meters distance which isnt fun at all tbh thats why nemi who is I would say little weaker more reliable and easier to play as compare to xenonorph he is even less stressfull because doging his attack is harder when the killer knows where to aim and drag it.

I keep remembering the time Otz had her at A tier, though for the past few years now he's been considering her a C tier. She is hurt severely by coordinated groups or whoever chases her at the start. They can stop her from setting up the web, and that really hurts her early game

I like the running part and the swiping lol. I will admit that is one reason I don't do well is that I don't super care about the technical side of dbd, I do use some perks and add ons but for the most part I just log in and have fun.

She isnt that played but first she was low because of healing meta with COH then she was high again and the I thik hens tested her agains comp survs and outcome was 20 minutes game but unlike with condem sadako the outcome was she didnt get any kills or one which is poor tbh, she just as all trap killers depends on survivors making mistakes and punishes them but same as with trapper or ghostface if some survivor runs behind you and dissarms your power (traps) she becomes m1 killer with 110 speed so she is kinda bad against agressive teams that have coordination. She just destroyes uncoordinated teams especialy soloq and is stomped by coordinated agressive teams (just one guy running behind you and dissarming your traps is enough to make you sweat and have very hard time not to mention there is tech that just makes survivor to triger your trap and get from hit radius no matter how fast you tp there or they will stealth behind and just remowe them slowly or run through them when you carry someone and then its gg).

I think they should make her 115 speed as other m1 killers but once you set trap you become 110 speed and another thing is to remove her hinder shd has second or two after she teleports this would help her. Nice thing would be giving her timed ability that makes her after some time 30-45 seconds to teleport to any of her traps now there is sddon for that but having this basekit would make her more fun, problem with her is as with any unpopular killer she isnt super problematic and isnt popular so she gets ignored as forgotten toy in the corner.

Ur not wrong lol nemi is much more casual to play as. I just get a lot of rounds where survivors dont know how to place the turrets. But when they do... not much you can do besides m1 mindgames. I wouldnt mind a rework to the whole tail/turret part of it as its really 1 sided on both ends.
