what’s the difference between the reworked styptic agent and abdominal dressing since reading the description on what they do they appear to do the same thing

    Speed and efficiency are not the same thing - efficiency does not affect the healing time, it affects the consumption rate of your item charges. In other words, the Styptic Agent reduces the amount of medkit charges you need to complete the heal.

    I will point out though that in its current form it is a bad addon because the benefit it gives in terms of the number of charges saved is less than what you can gain by using any of the addons that add extra charges (including the low-rarity Bandages).
