Straight up one of the worst years for dbd. A lot of promises and no actions. Terrible changes that either favours one side or another.

And when will you listen to the other side that you completely ruined with your last update? You don't care about that feedback, but you respond to the killers' feedback in two days and give them what they ask for. They're a joke.

I empathize that it feels that way from your perspective, but there isn't preferential treatment on bug fixes or updates. The only priority assigned is severity - major issues are addressed first! This also depends on scheduling; for example pallet density was live for over a month and that was not fun for Killers. No feedback is prioritized over anyone else's. No time is taken to listen to one side over the other, and no group of players gets any specialized treatment.

Well now it's unfun for survivors. Honestly would be better if the devs wouldn't even introduced a pallet density and instead look at problematic maps seperately

We appreciate everyone that is taking the time to share these thoughts, as well! This is immensely valuable and perfect feedback we can take to the team.

"major issues are addressed first"
Except when it is tunneling or slugging I guess.

Except we have attempted to address these issues more than once, so it is not being totally ignored. I understand where you're coming from, though, and understand it's frustrating.

- The difference is that before with a good killer (nurse, bligth, billy, kaneki) you could "manage" the pallet density problem. Now the survivors have to face the exact same killers as before (nurse, bligth, billy, kaneki) but with very weak resources... it's not exactly the opposite. I'm not saying that nothing had to change, but not like this

We can't be balancing the game around the top 5% of the entire killer roster, it kills it for everyone else. Rather than balancing around them we just need to bring them down so that we can balance around all the other majority of weaker killers.

It would be nice to have more clarity and communication about how feedback is considered, and whether or not hyperbolic overreactions push more severe changes/reverts, because that's currently how it feels from the outside.

Our process is taking all of the feedback to the relevant teams! Community team doesn't decide how and what feedback is actioned.

I think the worst part is believing in it, "Oh finally BHVR is gonna do something that is going to make all those bad games we had over the many years to make the game have less bad games in the future" and then getting thoroughly disappointed while "the other side" is currently tunneling to their hearts content. Gleefully that the "survivor mains" could not get any changes through to limit their ability to crush Survivors in any meaningful way.
So we ended up with a rise in bad games, to say this is frustrating is selling it short. You should call it a travesty.
But yes, a fair try at doing it is always appreciated, but even a bandaid fix would have been better than the increase in tunneling. I guess its moderately more difficult to Camp now… I guess.

After being camped into second for two matches in one night a few days ago I can confirm it's still easy.
And yeah. I agree. The disappoint of constant walkbacks is the issue. It's more crushing than just doing nothing.

This in particular:
And yeah. I agree. The disappoint of constant walkbacks is the issue. It's more crushing than just doing nothing. It makes it so that every new idea that gets tested on the PTB would feel like a hollow promise, that would never come to live. Or at least that is how I would feel about it, because the last two PTB's has not yielded anything that would actually fix the problems on either side.
