[Feedback] Ghostface need buffs across the board

I want to give some feedback on Ghostface because he’s really showing his age compared to the rest of the killer roster. He’s fun and his concept is great, but his kit just isn’t keeping up with how the game has evolved. Right now he feels inconsistent, too easily countered, and way too dependent on the survivors making mistakes rather than on his own skill or pressure.

The biggest problem is how easily he gets revealed. Survivors reveal him from angles where they clearly aren’t looking at him, or from distances that don’t make sense. Sometimes people reveal him while they’re doing a gen or healing without even trying. When a large part of a killer’s identity is stealth, but that stealth keeps getting turned off automatically, it just makes him feel unreliable.

Marking is also too slow and too easy to interrupt. You can spend several seconds stalking someone and lose all of it instantly because one survivor across the tile flicked their camera for half a second. Other killers apply way more pressure in way less time, and Ghostface simply doesn’t get enough payoff for the time he has to invest to Mark someone.

He also suffers from having no mobility and a completely basic chase. If you’re not catching someone by surprise with a Mark, you’re just playing an M1 killer with nothing that helps you at tiles. On big maps or maps with lots of line-of-sight blockers, there’s very little he can do unless survivors mess up.

Even his Night Shroud cooldown punishes him too much. Being revealed doesn’t just turn off his power, it forces him into a long downtime where he can’t do anything but walk around and hope no one reveals him again. That sets him back so far that he often never builds enough momentum to threaten the team.

I think he needs a general pass of buffs, not anything extreme, just enough to make him consistent and competitive again. Some areas that would help a lot are making reveals stricter and less random, speeding up or making Marking more reliable, easing the cooldown on Night Shroud, and giving him a bit more chase potential against a Marked survivor so he’s not completely powerless once he’s been spotted.

Ghostface has one of the coolest fantasies in the game, but the actual gameplay hasn’t kept up with newer killer designs or the current meta. A small set of buffs would go a long way toward making him fun and viable again without making him oppressive.

I'd like him to be buffed too, not sure if I want a rework or just buffs but yeah he needs changes. Maybe a shorter post reveal cooldown and lowering the reveal rate when performing conspicuous actions would be decent buffs if we want him to be mostly as he is which I lean towards.

I have also toyed with a locker trap ability which lets him hide in a locker and then dash out of it getting a fun jumpscare ability but Idk what else they could give him. It's not like myers where his rework form feels weird but at the end of the day its still a guy stabbing you with a knife, ghostie isn't meant to be a chase killer I don't think.

Some of his addons are a possibility for basekit integration. I have yet to understand why hooked or dying survivors can reveal Ghostface or missing his basic attack loses his power altogether.
