whats your way to cobe with survivors that do nothing all game long?
for me, i found out if i turn crossplay off so i only play with steam people and i type into every lobby
if im the only one knowing what a gen is, i will afk just saying
people tend to dodge more often but when i do get a match (which doesnt take much longer) people generally do gens.
i found my own fix to the trashy mmr system.
youre free to use this line btw <3 youre welcome

Or you could just find a SWF?
AFKing is just contributing to the problem that you're complaining about.

but i dont afk?
saying this gets the afk idiots to dodge the lobby. and then i play with people that actually have a brain and all is fine and dandy.
and yeah a swf is a solution, but they arent on all the time. its not easy finding 3 other people that play at the same time as you do, especially when you have family, work and stuff
edit: i dont see how me actually afking adds to the problem. if i actually went afk, these idiots would see how it feels and maybe learn from it.

"Hey everyone if I think you're not playing well enough I'm going to throw the game" is going to get plenty of not-trash players to assume you're just going to throw the game. Nobody wants a suspected liability, as your reasoning for even doing this illustrates.
Instead you should be focusing on maximizing your own agency, and working on how to offset when your teammates don't do the same. You can't control how other players play, but you can learn ways to minimize their negative impacts while bolstering their positive ones when they come through. Beyond that, even hopeless games make great labs to practice ways to improve aspects of your own agency you may have room to improve and refine. Also

Instead of trying to spite players you will likely never see again, why not work on improving your own odds despite them?

I play it out and my priorities switch from escaping the match to farming as much blood points as I can possibly get in the match.
Even if the killer gets a 4k it still feels like a win to me when I have so much more BPs compared to others.

ye this is promoting unsportsmanlike gameplay by admitting and encouraging people to afk and not play the game….which is against the forum rules and can mean a warning or worse, a ban on the forum

It's all fun and games until a 3-man decides to grief you and leave you on hook then says "we were doing the gens like you wanted."

to be fair a common occurrence regardless of what the solo player does. part of the reason i play the way i do is because that situation was happening all too often. Not the griefing part, they play the match as normal, i would go for saves, take hits, give a hook state or 2 to take the pressure off but when their duo or trio are safe they dont risk themselves for the 1 random.

The opposite is also common. I'll gladly trade for a random who either did really well for the team or who was targeted by the killer. Plenty of parties out there will do the most for randoms. It's much easier to coordinate saves on a random too.
Just had a duo/duo match last night with a pair of juicers. They kept the killer busy, did the real work, and I got hooked in end game when all I did was gens. The other pair could have just left but one of them went for the save. The resulting chaos turned a 3 out into a 2 out with both duos loosing their other half, but that pair could have just left and they didn't.

no one will believe me, but i prefer this outcome over 3 idiots that do nothing
