Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I’d really love to see a Cyberman in DBD

I'd love a Doctor Who chapter in general.

If the devs could figure out how to make Daleks work, man, that'd be the coolest thing…

Your favorite pop culture thing doesn't need to be in DBD.

Doctor Who is pretty up there when it comes to iconic horror media, I'd say it has as much claim as something like Stranger Things.

Daleks would be such an iconic threat, sure the weeping angels are the fan favorite. But Daleks have much more screen-time.

Here is an idea on how they could make a Dalek Power.

If we first take the idea that the disintegration beam should be the main attraction then Daleks would be a pinpoint accuracy ranged killer with slow movement speed. Deathslinger comes to mind, but without a reeling in.

In the show, the Disintegration Beam is supposed to be instant death, but we cant do that. Games rules.
Which fortunately happens for the Doctor often, since Daleks are poor shots in the series.

Here is how I think it could work. here is the basic gameplay

    1. Slow speed Killer
    2. Pin-point long range laser that creates an electrical explosion where ever it hits.
    3. Explosion causes hindered for a small moment
    4. First laser hits with Laser explodes dead center on Survivor
    5. Second laser hits injures survivor. causes explosion too but injured survivor inst affected.
    6. A discussion can be had how many direct hits needs to cause injury.

I also think a secondary system should be in play

    1. Laser direct hits = Doom Counter (x number max)
    2. Hook survivor to lock in Doom Counter
    3. Once Y number of Doom counters has been reached, direct ranged hits with Disintegration will Quick Mori Survivor.

Do you think this could show promise? I think it could be an okay start for gameplay to develop from.

I really like this concept. I suggested having a Cyberman originally just because I think they’re still really iconic Doctor Who monsters while maybe fitting DBD slightly better with features like vaulting, breaking pallets, carrying, etc but I would love to see a Dalek if they could somehow make it work

Doctor Who is not a horror show by any stretch of the word, it's British sci-fi "humor".

…Have you watched it? It bounces pretty cleanly between the more lighthearted sci-fi episodes and the more horror-oriented episodes.
