Seriously just having a hard time enjoying the game
No matter how many breaks I take the game always knows what button to push to bother me. Matchmaking being the main one every time and I mean every single time I get 1 match against survivors who don't seem to be at my skill level so I destory them because matchmaking but congrats you did so well that here's twenty other matchs where you will be destroyed because sorry that minute time slot where matchmaking is perfect is gone. I was always told matchmaking works depending on the time zone...but which WHICH TIME ZONE? Because clearly not EST which is my time zone. I want to enjoy the game I really do but I refuse to tunnel unless the person who just got off hook seemingly thinks yeah going towards a killer who has a second attack power is a smart idea, and I refuse to camp because sorry that's not fun. But it feels like for you to have fun you need to be toxic. The winter event was a bust because toxic survivors and killers infested it and going to normal matches again showed the same result I can't win. So what the hell am I doing wrong?
Edit: So I don't like DCing unless it's because the server crash but there are times where I can get four matches in a row where I get 1 hook by the time 4 gens are left because i decided to play a killer i haven't in a while so I'm rusty or just because I decided "yeah let's play this killer i had a good match why not" then get destroyed like I play Springtrap because I was in the mood to play him had good match but then was destroyed the rest of the matches to the point i went into a security door and just waited because I can't do anything two hooks but sadly those two were just extremely lucky and then get obliterated because sorry unless you bring the meta and play boring then you can win...possibly. I just want to enjoy the game I really do but sorry toxic players non-stop and terrible match making just ruins the fun my own fun which I try making but events are ruined by toxicity and well normal matches struggle to do anything because of events.

I've played in multiple time zones and what I've noticed is it's not the place that matters, it's the time of day. I mostly play between midnight and 6am in my region and I get sweaty survivor teams with flashlights, DH, DS, Made for This, We're Gonna Live Forever, and Background Player who play super aggressive. But on my days off, if I can get on at 2pm or something reasonable like that, it's a bit less psychotic. Not 100%, but better.
Hopefully whatever they have in store for next year's matchmaking changes isn't crap. I would also like to feel like I'm consistently facing people on my same level.

Maybe its your loadouts? Once i started restricting myself to killers that i like and suit my playstyle i have barely felt any frustration as killer since, more boredom and dissatisfaction with the quality of the game.

I mean both matters. Just look at Asia for example, survivors are actually dominant in that region and killer is clearly the unpopular role.
In my region, killers feel dominant and super sweaty whereas survivors are super casual-2 -
It makes sence because thats time where people are playing with their friends (I bet its harder to do so in day time when everyone has to be in work or school and doesnt have time to go and play in swf that is sweaty), thats why in day time its more with randoms soloq players and its way easier but logicaly if they arent people of your skill near you at the time game will give you someone so you dont have to wait for queues like in 2v8 or ptb (when everyone is playing new killer) or you would need to get some from other regions or locations and that would mean worse ping for you or them which would not be fun to if you play killer that is very dependent on conection like nemesis, bubba or doctor (these killers get best of their powers with good ping because with higher ping doctors shock doesnt connect in time and its way worse, bubbas hitbox is delayed to so some hits get dedicated like you hit survivor infront pallet and see blood but he doesnt get downed or you would not make it,nemesis pulling his whip is delayed and its release on attack is to so its way worse for the killer to use it for hits and you end up as m1 nemi which sucks).
On some events there seems to be mmr little "loose" and I mean by it its more off from your so you get bigger specter of players usualy the lower mmr because its due to event (I was getting on halloween against my legion survivors with 50- 700 hours even the fact I have few thousands hours and legion isnt my most played killer but still I should get people near my mmr ranking same as with new killers).

You’re not doing anything wrong. The matchmaking is simply a horrific, non—functional mess. There are two parts to the issue:
- How MMR is determined. Using escapes alone and to some extent kills alone to measure skill is insanely stupid. Using other things (in addition to kills and escapes) that are easily measured (and are already measured in the game!) such as chase times and chases won/lost would be a far better measure of skill. It’s something that is very much within BHVR’s control, but for some reason they refuse to implement this very common-sense improvement. Good players who carry teams but don’t escape because they have bad teammates need to stop getting punished for having bad teammates.
- This is more outside of BHVR’s control, but more accurate matchmaking requires either longer queue times or a larger pool of players. Increasing queue times would likely drive more players away, only making the problem worse, so I can at least somewhat understand why BHVR isn’t addressing this part of the matchmaking problem.

I bounce back and forth between both roles and get sweats at that time in both roles. There's literally no peace at 2am.

I've also been having a pretty bad time lately. I can't pinpoint a single issue but it's the constant cycle of > bring casual build > go against sweaty build(s) > feel bad > bring sweaty build to stand a better chance > go against literal infants who have never played the game before > feel bad > bring casual build and repeat ad infinitum.

TRUE, ONLY SWEATY KILLER MAINS PLAYS IT AND I USUALLY GET PAIRED WITH CONSOLE NOOBS SO I CAN'T EVEN ESCAPE EVEN AFTER 10 MATCHES, BROKEN MMR WITH NOOB CONSOLE SURVIVORS (WITH MAX 10-20S CHASE) ON TOP OF IT

Its been like this for years this "vicious circle" that never ends and always the payback for previous bad game with insults is thrown at casuals or chill teams that are maybe sometimes little worse than your average mmr opponent temas, caught in this to get destroyed but how can you know as killer (if you dont cheat) you cant know their intentions and perks from the start so you expect them to ge another sweaty vermin who will insult you for any missplay or thing that you did good, its been like this all the time thats why I run ame builds most of time because usualy when I use some non meta fun build or want to try it I get full meta sweats and with high chance them being a swf on top with some insults in chatt (not that I would care but after loosing against something you have very little chance its like too much spice in food).
