Any tips on getting 20 repair skillchecks in one game
Tried for a many games now, even 3 gens completed solo won't give me 20 skill checks.

I got it normally playing you just need to get lucky best I got without perks is like 10 skill checks on one gen. Finishing gens fast is not good for this challenge so even hitting skill checks you should not go for great skill checks.
Still you can make skill checks more common by using certain perks like Deadline and One-Two-Three-Four! latter can be used on you by others if you don't have it.
Not 100% if it counts Merciless Storm skill checks so getting killer using that would help a lot.

I tried using vees tamberine. The rest is luck from the killer not coming after you too quickly. But another one is alan wakes skill check perk while injured, mix that with tamberine and a brown toolbox youll be getting tons of skill checks, maybe no mither to stay injured for alans perk. Iastly if u dont have vee or alan wake, maybe felix built to last can let you keep using a brown toolbox for more skillchecks

Been so long I have seen someone use merciless storm only on myself tbh but that perk is just not that great against survivors that can hit skillchecks tbh.

Funny thing had one last time I played and it does work on some people as I have a friend who really hates that perk as he has hard time to keep up with the checks or he just is not trusting himself of doing them.

you get way more skill checks using a toolbox. so bring a big toolbox with all the charge addons and use the perk Built to Last. Pump your big toolbox several times into some generators and you should easily get 20 skill checks. Hyperfocus+Stakeout would make it even easier.

I mean best use is on doctor due to his skillchecks and then on people with worse ping or lower fps where skillchecks are harder like console players but if survivor can hit all without getting pushed off than the perk doesnt do much and is worse than oppression, still better than undone that lives to its name.

Got it first try with the tamborine perk. The gens threw skill checks at me with that one

- Vee's tambourine + any toolbox (perhaps with add-ons to increase capacity).For those who don't know, using a toolbox causes skill checks to appear more frequently by default.

I got it with Hyperfocus and Stake Out. And a Commodious Toolbox.

Commodious toolbox w/both charge add-ons, Stake Out + Hyperfocus and Built to Last.

Ive been running Hyperfocus, Stake Out, Tambourine and Autodidact.
Got it fairly quickly, idk how many games it took since I wasnt even going for it. Just saw it show up in the top right once it was done

Use Vees perk for skillchecks or toolbox with max charges you can also use streetwise from Nea (she is free) to loot chests to get toolboxes with more charges🤗

Toolbox. Toolboxes give you 50% chance of getting a skill-check.
So worst case scenario bring built to last and eventually you will get 20 easily. Since you used 3 toolboxes in total at this point if you are doing gens non-stop.

Its mentioned in the wiki.
Its never mentioned in the game.
People have dug through the code and found what toolboxes do, which is increase the chance up to 50%.
Which, as a genrusher i can confirm myself i get alot more checks than without a toolbox when trying to use hyperfocus for example.x

Toolbox with Built to Last and a skill check addon will do it. Plus if you have one-two-three-four you should easily get them within one to two gens.

Its not? I'm positive it mentions in the description for Toolboxes. That's how I knew. Unless that line has been removed since I last looked (which was some time ago).

patch 4.7.0
- Skill Check chance while using Toolboxes increased to x5 (originally x2).
so in total 52,5% skill-check chance for generator repair with a toolbox. instead of just 10, for 60% in total.

I know the wiki has been know to not document previous text completely. I'm sure it was in the description in game and that's how I knew of this (few years back now). Never mind, If it was it's been since removed. Or I'm just having a false memory.
