What gameplay changes are you hoping for with the upcoming 9.4.0 PTB this Tuesday?

A few things i’m hoping for are:

  • Buff to Fog Vials
  • Another rework of the styptic agent (current version is by far the worst medkit add-on and needs another redesign)
  • Demogorgon Buffs + add-on pass
  • Buff the Harmless
  • Rework Kaneki’s Centipede and Yamori’s Mask addons
  • Nerf blight by making him 4.4 and give him the pallet break token removal nerf similar to kaneki
  • nerf sabo speeds
  • nerf power struggle + flip flop combo

    i only want it nerfed because i hate slugging on both sides in the game. on killer, you’re at a lose/lose if someone else is nearby and on surv it doesn’t feel good being on the ground for extended periods of time cheesing the fact that the killer can’t pick you up. same with sabotaging. the only counter to sabo is slugging and it’s boring on both sides to be in a slugfest game.

    They just need to completely rework Flip Flop, it's a consistent problem with turning niche perks into "bleed me out or else" builds. It's the worst kind of perk, because it's not even great for winning games, just for stalling out the game unnecessarily.

    Im hoping for survivor model and animation improvements and it could happen because the first attempt suddenly came with clown’s rework so maybe

    Nerf all the killers to make the game balanced and fair again. Right now it is way too easy to practice a killer for 20 hours and get 4K against survivors with 1K+ hours each. There has to come a point when killer mains learn to chase and kill survivors instead of letting the devs get the kills for them (cough cough Knight cough cough).

    Great suggestions to be honest.

    • Fog Vials should in my opinion be reworked to be more like the Void Crystals. Smaller area of effect, but much harder to see through, which doesn't create the blinding effect on some maps, or appear totally useless on other maps.
    • Styptics are just useless in their current form. The fact that they offer less value than a BROWN add-on is just laughably bad. The effect needs to be at least 33% to counteract the self-heal debuff.
    • Demo definitely needs an add-on pass to become relevant again, since most of his add-ons are all linked to his portals, and nothing to really address his Shred ability.
    • Unknown needs some love, for sure.
    • These two add-ons are problematic, as they are essentially free perks. And while they are at it, make it so that canceling his power has a longer fatigue time (reverse-Nurse effect), so that using his leap to catch up is not as effective as it currently is.
    • I support these Blight nerfs, so that he can't go for easy M1's as often, or rush you down instantly after breaking pallets. This will make him a lot more balanced, and relying more on his strong power to get hits and downs with.
    • I can totally see where you are coming from with this suggestion. I'd much rather see sabotaging becoming like it was in the past, but more an in-between of the current sabo and the old sabo. Make it take longer, but the progress stays until the hook is broken by any means. Broken hooks should always respawn after 60 seconds.
    • I can also see where you are coming from with this suggestion, but "PowerFlop" is a very niche and almost never used combo. I could agree that the requirement for Power Struggle being increased to let's say 25% from today's 15% would make it much less problematic. That way it will only punish someone who is slugging for a more extended period of time.

    Now, there is another counter to saboing, and that is Agitation, since it lets you transport survivors to the hook a lot faster. I've outplayed a lot of sabos that way. Once you see the sabo survivor run towards the hook, quickly turn towards another, and you should still be able to make it, unless someone is running breakout (which is incredibly rare to see).

    You know, this is something I would like to see as well. Survivor animations look incredibly stiff in their current form, especially on the female survivors. The old animations were a lot smoother in comparison, even if they looked janky.

    I hope for this as well. Nancy got done dirty with her model in game.

    I always hope for buffs to poster boy but I know it won't happen. So yeah I hope the new killer is fun to play and fun to play against!

    I would love to see a fat amount of bugs fixed with little to none other bugs added to the game. Trapper Buffs would go hard, also, give up leopard print speedo Trapper please. Demo buffs would also be sick. And a shake up the meta with perk nerfs and buffs/reworks. Preferably on the killer side but also surv side needs it as well. I personally hate that when I load up killer I almost always play the same perks no matter the killer. Same could go for surv but imo the surv side does have a lot more variety on the amount of actually viable and useable perks. Also, I hope new Vecna is balanced and not to weak or to strong and I hope that the new surv perks aren't completely overpowered or completely useless. I have a feeling Eleven will have some nutty perks tho.

    I'd love for the dev's to choose suggestions at random on the forums here and apply them. Juuuust to see what happens. Can always revert!

    But on a serious note, Ghoul's ease of lethality is just depressing. Fix things, but try to keep nerfs to a minimal.

    Make snowskulls year round. It adds quite a bit to a trial imo.

    severely disappointed with this patch. New content looks cool but dbd is still dbd. Hopefully there are some undocumented changes that we’re missing or new changes at the live release
