I've tried switching to survivor, but the games are just so piss boring. Almost fell asleep yesterday while playing...... as killer that never happened 😀
Honestly, besides from all the bugs and balance issues, I really dont see where this game is going.
Instead of creating a proper competitive environment, sth you can aim for etc, BHVR is putting effort into useless features like twitch challenges, who asked for that? Seriously?
When playing killer I had at least sth to strive for, P3 everyone blabla even if you cant play them because they are designed not to be viable.... but still.
As survivor I dont use items, I have all perks unlocked, so what? Am I just playing for fun? Holding M1 at a gen half of the time? Watching killers go so mad that they stand infront of me and nod their head (I can understand that btw) mhm yeah....
Sure, I will be back when dedicated servers are live (with DC punishment, crossplay and without bugs hopefully), but until that happens, the game will stay uninstalled =)

I only accept the saltiest of killer main tears whilst being camped.

Have you tried SWF? Playing solo is maybe not for you cuz it has a lot of situations without action. With swf you can talk about private stuff or coordinate like a swat team which can be fun. Give it a try if you want to. Otherwise have a good time till autumn, but don't expect huge changed till then. It's going to be the same experience most likely

You hit the nail on the head. Why play? For fun. Playing to enjoy it should be the FIRST priority or it becomes a chore. Playing for fun is exactly the point.
I think the twitch challenges are neat. a good possible way to do "tournaments" in the future since everyone wants a competetive mode. Hell, I think their model makes sense if it wansnt farmable with killers messaging survivors.
But yes, anything new and inventive trying to come up with new ways to grow the game is a terrible idea.

Like it or not "I'm fed up enough with this game to stop playing it" is indeed feedback.

I don't get why so many responses here are so inconsiderate and rude. Save the toxicity for when someone's being stupid.
I literally just switched to killer main yesterday because I'm sick and tired of dumb teammates who don't know how to rescue against a camping killer and DCing teammates in every game I play now. If you wanna try survivor again because killer is to easy/boring I suggest SWF. I like playing solo but I always expect to die and not have much fun with my own teammates if I do.

For every person leaving there are probably more joining. DBD is a relatively popular game. Otherwise they would not be porting it to the switch or updating it anymore.

A lot of these guys that leave have done hundreds, sometimes thousands of hours.
Its natural to move on to another game. Nothing can hold your attention forever.
I will miss Master if he doesn't post on the forum though.

@Bithard You're new here so I'll let that pass but just to let you know, Surviving 10'000 posts without getting hit by the ban hammer is quite impressive.
If they're toxic that just makes it even more impressive, considering that even the nicest people are regularly getting banned for minor inconveniences.

If you like FPS games you should try Titanfall 2, takes a bit to get used to but it's fun as hell.
