Returning Player: Doctor Build Recommendations

Hey guys. returning to DBD after a long hiatus. Stopped playing shortly after Chucky was released. So there's definitely some perks I'm missing

Been cleaning up on doctor for five matches now but suspect that's partially because of MMR and the game placing me vs new players but idk.

My Doctor build right now is:

Surge, Discordance, Friends Til' The End, and Whispers

with Iri King, purp Restraint, and Black Ward as loadout items

Overall, I like the build cuz it gives me continuous map info and lets me push players over to one side of the map to 3 gen themselves but also think there's better options.

Discordance specifically feels like a feast or famine perk. It either gives me tons of value or none at all depending on if people are grouping up.

I will say though I do very much like Whispers because it just guarantees I never waste my AoE and if I do lose track of someone, its a great way to pick them back up.

After that, what do you recommend?

    Iridescent King is overrated IMO, you're better off running the Detonation Delay add-ons.

    And I'd switch out Discordance for something more aggressive like Coulrophobia, Forced Hesitation, or Devour Hope.

    I can't help with basic/general builds. I also don't play Doc often, like once every few months. but I typically have good luck on him.

    I made this build purely for flavour. for addons it's just range+ detonation delay with Starstruck,Agitation, Iron Maiden, Surge.

    the idea is to just be confident and rely on your own intuition and hurt people with Starstruck. Lack of info is OK with doc. This build loses harder to Calm Spirit, but you will scream no matter what. either expose from Starstruck or expose from iron maiden. if you're decent at the shock power this build can snowball pretty quickly
